The mobile phase was n-hexane, and five alkane (alcohols) were used as the polar modifier. The effects of the modifier and its concentration on the resolution were studied, and the influence of the temperature was also investigated. The results show that the separation factor could reach 1.41 at room temperature with 5%(volume fraction) isopropanol in the mobile phase. (Lower) column temperature resulted in a higher separation factor. The separation mechanism was primarily (discussed).展开更多
