The configuration of semisubmersibles consisting of pontoons and columns and their corresponding heave motion response in incident progressive waves are examined. The purpose of the present study is to provide a theoretical approach to estimating the effects of volumetric allocation on natural period and response amplitude operator (RAO) in heave motion. We conclude that the amplitude of heave motion response can be considerably suppressed by appropriately adjusting volumetric allocation so that the natural heave period keeps away from the range of wave energy. The theoretical formulae are found in good agreement with the corresponding computational results by WAMIT. 展开更多

为保证大型浮式风力机在极端工况下的正常运行与结构安全,有必要开展极端工况下大型浮式风力机结构响应的极值预报以及结构安全性评估。该文采用OpenFast软件对中国南海50 a一遇的工况下15 MW半潜式风力机进行结构响应数值模拟,利用平... 为保证大型浮式风力机在极端工况下的正常运行与结构安全,有必要开展极端工况下大型浮式风力机结构响应的极值预报以及结构安全性评估。该文采用OpenFast软件对中国南海50 a一遇的工况下15 MW半潜式风力机进行结构响应数值模拟,利用平均穿越率法并结合泊松近似假设,对大型浮式风力机塔基剪力和弯矩的极值分布进行预报。结果显示,极端工况下,浮式风力机在纵摇固有频率附近,由于纵摇运动引起气动载荷变化,导致塔底弯矩和剪力显著增加。同时,平均穿越率法能有效预报15 MW浮式风力机的塔基结构响应极值分布,在超越概率为0.01的情况下,基于1 h数值模拟响应样本预报的塔基剪力和弯矩极值能满足结构强度要求。 展开更多

In this paper,the multi-body coupled dynamic characteristics of a semisubmersible platform and an HYSY 229 barge were investigated.First,coupled hydrodynamic analysis of the HYSY 229 barge and the semisubmersible platform was performed.Relevant hydrodynamic parameters were obtained using the retardation function method of three-dimensional frequency-domain potential flow theory.The results of the hydrodynamic analysis were highly consistent with the test findings,verifying the accuracy of the multifloating hydrodynamic coupling analysis,and key hydrodynamic parameters were solved for different water depths and the coupling effect.According to the obtained results,the hydrodynamic influence was the largest in shallow waters when the coupling effect was considered.Furthermore,the coupled motion equation combined with viscous damping,fender system,and mooring system was established,and the hydrodynamics,floating body motion,and dynamic response of the fender system were analyzed.Motion analysis revealed good agreement among the surge,sway,and yaw motions of the two floating bodies.However,when the wave period reached 10 s,the motion of the two floating bodies showed severe shock,and a relative motion was also observed.Therefore,excessive constraints should be added between the two floating bodies during construction to ensure construction safety.The numerical analysis and model test results of the semisubmersible platform and HYSY 229 barge at a water depth of 42 m and sea conditions of 0°,45°,and 90° were in good agreement,and the error was less than 5%.The maximum movement of the HYSY 229 barge reached 2.61 m in the sway direction,whereas that of the semisubmersible platform was 2.11 m.During construction,excessive constraints should be added between the two floating bodies to limit their relative movement and ensure construction safety. 展开更多

Recently,semisubmersible floating offshore wind turbine technologies have received considerable attention.For the coupled simulation of semisubmersible floating offshore wind energy,the platform is usually considered a rigid model,which could affect the calculation accuracy of the dynamic responses.The dynamic responses of a TripleSpar floating offshore wind turbine equipped with a 10 MW offshore wind turbine are discussed herein.The simulation of a floating offshore wind turbine under regular waves,white noise waves,and combined wind-wave conditions is conducted.The effects of the tower and platform flexibility on the motion and force responses of the TripleSpar semisubmersible floating offshore wind turbine are investigated.The results show that the flexibility of the tower and platform can influence the dynamic responses of a TripleSpar semisubmersible floating offshore wind turbine.Considering the flexibility of the tower and platform,the tower and platform pitch motions markedly increased compared with the fully rigid model.Moreover,the force responses,particularly for tower base loads,are considerably influenced by the flexibility of the tower and platform.Thus,the flexibility of the tower and platform for the coupled simulation of floating offshore wind turbines must be appropriately examined. 展开更多

It is considered to be a main type of platform while the water depth is more than 3000 meters. This paper establishes a multi-objective optimization model of semisubmersible for ultra-deep water, and it is solved by a multi-objective genetic algorithm--NSGA-Ⅱ. The model is applied to a practical design, and Pareto results are obtained. The effectiveness of the method is verified by hydrodynamic analysis. 展开更多

The present research aims at clarifying the effects of freak wave on the motion and dynamic responses of a semisubmersible. To reveal the effects of mooring stiffness, two mooring systems were employed in the model tests and time-domain simulations. The 6-DOF motion responses and mooring tensions have been measured and the 3- DOF motions of fairleads were calculated as well. From the time series, trajectories and statistics information, the interactions between the freak wave and the semisubmersible have been demonstrated and the effects of mooring stiffness have been identified. The shortage of numerical simulations based on 3D potential flow theory is presented. Results show that the freak wave is likely to cause large horizontal motions for soft mooring system and to result in extremely large mooring tensions for tight mooring system. Therefore, the freak wave is a real threat for the marine structure, which needs to be carefully considered at design stage. 展开更多

The present research work concerns about the hydrodynamic behaviors of the open net offshore fish cages of single,double and 4-cage systems subjected to regular sinusoidal waves.The open net semisubmersible rigid cage is square in shape and analyzed numerically using ANSYS AQWA software.Frequency and time domain analyses are carried out for each case.The hydrodynamic parameters such as added mass,radiation potential damping,motion responses and mooring line tensions are considered as performance indicators to conclude as the best arrangements among three different cages.The single cage and windward side of all cages exhibit identical performance in all hydrodynamic parameters.The leeward side of each cage shows lesser parametric values than the windward side cages.Based on the performance indicators,it is concluded that the grid system containing four cage arrangements provides better performance than three other cage configurations.An experimental model of 1∶75 scale is fabricated and wave flume studies are conducted to validate the present numerical model.The cage is placed at a water depth of 55 cm and subjected to wave heights of 12 cm and 14 cm with wave periods ranging from 0.8 s to 2.2 s with an interval of 0.2 s are considered.The same wave flume boundary conditions are adopted for numerical simulations and results are in good agreement with experimental work results. 展开更多

Hydrodynamic numerical simulations are used to conduct structural analyses and inform the design of engineered marine structures.In this paper,a hydrodynamic numerical model of“Nanhai Tiaozhan”(NHTZ)FPS platform was established according to its design specifications.The model was assessed with two sets of field monitoring data representing harsh and conventional sea states.The motion responses of the platform according to the measured data and the hydrodynamic simulation were compared by reviewing their statistical characteristics,distributions,and spectrum characteristics.The comparison showed that the hydrodynamic model could correctly simulate the frequency domain characteristics of the motion responses of the platform.However,the simulation underestimated the reciprocating motions of the floating body and the influence of slow drift on the motion of the platform.Meanwhile,analysis of the monitoring data revealed that the translational degrees of freedom(DOF)and rotational DOF of the platform were coupled,but these coupled motion states were not apparent in the hydrodynamic simulation. 展开更多

为了促进深远海养殖装备朝智能化方向发展,解决电能供给困难的问题,克服抗风浪网箱受波流耦合作用对太阳能和风能利用的局限性的问题,针对养殖区域的低流速海域,提出了一种适用于深远海可升降网箱的横轴半潜式潮流能发电装置,建立了Savo... 为了促进深远海养殖装备朝智能化方向发展,解决电能供给困难的问题,克服抗风浪网箱受波流耦合作用对太阳能和风能利用的局限性的问题,针对养殖区域的低流速海域,提出了一种适用于深远海可升降网箱的横轴半潜式潮流能发电装置,建立了Savonius型水轮机叶片受力数学模型,分析了叶轮中心与水面的距离对水轮机捕能效率的影响,利用Fluent软件数值模拟了导流增速浮体的速度场情况,设计了发电装置整体结构及锚泊系统,搭建了发电装置试验模型,开展了物理模型试验,测试了不同水流速度情况下与叶轮相对离水距有关的各参数变化情况,并对试验数据进行分析。试验结果表明,在不同的水流流速下,随着离水距的不断增加,捕获功率呈先增加后减小的趋势,当叶轮中心高出水面1/4个叶轮直径时,叶轮的输出功率最大。 展开更多

针对半潜式平台疲劳裂纹剩余扩展寿命的计算和预测问题,本文在计及板厚腐蚀的前提下,针对半潜式平台立柱与横撑连接部位的疲劳裂纹进行扩展评估。依照规范选取合适板厚减小系数,利用指数速率模型计算板厚20 a后的腐蚀余量,输入剩余板厚... 针对半潜式平台疲劳裂纹剩余扩展寿命的计算和预测问题,本文在计及板厚腐蚀的前提下,针对半潜式平台立柱与横撑连接部位的疲劳裂纹进行扩展评估。依照规范选取合适板厚减小系数,利用指数速率模型计算板厚20 a后的腐蚀余量,输入剩余板厚尺寸进行结构整体和局部的响应分析。利用波浪散布数据与传递函数获得离散化的随机疲劳载荷,应用裂纹扩展率单一曲线模型进行裂纹扩展计算,在扩展循环中加入失效评估图FAD进行安全评估,计算得出的裂纹临界尺寸与寿命均比完整板厚下的数值小,而应用单一恒定幅值载荷加载的裂纹扩展寿命比离散化随机载荷加载的数值小。结果表明:在海洋平台结构响应分析中计入板厚腐蚀的影响,利用离散化方式处理随机疲劳载荷与应用FAD进行裂纹扩展安全评估,能提高评估过程及计算结果的合理性。 展开更多
