Segmentation evaluation is an effective procedure for studying the performance of segmentation techniques, in which quality measure plays an important role. This paper presents a group of new objective quality measures for segmentation evaluation and compares their performances. In addition, to verify the effectiveness of these new measures, an appropriate classification of segmentation is proposed. According to this classification, several representative algorithms from different categories are selected for comparison testing. Some valuable results are obtained and presented.展开更多

However, they fuse appearance...Current mainstream unsupervised video object segmentation(UVOS) approaches typically incorporate optical flow as motion information to locate the primary objects in coherent video frames. However, they fuse appearance and motion information without evaluating the quality of the optical flow. When poor-quality optical flow is used for the interaction with the appearance information, it introduces significant noise and leads to a decline in overall performance. To alleviate this issue, we first employ a quality evaluation module(QEM) to evaluate the optical flow. Then, we select high-quality optical flow as motion cues to fuse with the appearance information, which can prevent poor-quality optical flow from diverting the network's attention. Moreover, we design an appearance-guided fusion module(AGFM) to better integrate appearance and motion information. Extensive experiments on several widely utilized datasets, including DAVIS-16, FBMS-59, and You Tube-Objects, demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms existing methods.展开更多

Having based on the survey data of Chinese cruise tourism consumers, the factor analysis method, one-way analysis of variances method, cluster analysis method, and other quantitative and qualitative methods were taken to analyze Chinese consumers’ satisfaction differences of cruise tourism service quality with different segmentation markets and clusters markets, and the reasons of satisfaction differences were also explored. Then precision marketing strategy of Chinese cruise tourism with different segmentation markets and clusters markets from the supply-side reform perspective was discussed. The purpose of current research was to provide suggestions of precision management and precision marketing of Chinese cruise tourism for relevant enterprises and government departments.展开更多

A large variety of segmentation methods has been developed;among ...Image segmentation denotes a process for partitioning an image into distinct regions, it plays an important role in interpretation and decision making. A large variety of segmentation methods has been developed;among them, multidimensional histogram methods have been investigated but their implementation stays difficult due to the big size of histograms. We present an original method for segmenting n-D (where n is the number of components in image) images or multidimensional images in an unsupervised way using a fuzzy neighbourhood model. It is based on the hierarchical analysis of full n-D compact histograms integrating a fuzzy connected components labelling algorithm that we have realized in this work. Each peak of the histo- gram constitutes a class kernel, as soon as it encloses a number of pixels greater than or equal to a secondary arbitrary threshold knowing that a first threshold was set to define the degree of binary fuzzy similarity be- tween pixels. The use of a lossless compact n-D histogram allows a drastic reduction of the memory space necessary for coding it. As a consequence, the segmentation can be achieved without reducing the colors population of images in the classification step. It is shown that using n-D compact histograms, instead of 1-D and 2-D ones, leads to better segmentation results. Various images were segmented;the evaluation of the quality of segmentation in supervised and unsupervised of segmentation method proposed compare to the classification method k-means gives better results. It thus highlights the relevance of our approach, which can be used for solving many problems of segmentation.展开更多

However, GM became a market share leader in the American automobile industry due to a strategy of market segmentation, differentiation and a broad scope shaped during the 1920s. Porter argues that cost leadership and differentiation offer an equally viable path to competitive success. Nevertheless, a differentiation strategy based on superior quality compared to competition is more profitable than cost leadership strategy. It can lead a business to become a market share leader, and consequently even a low-cost leader. Research indicates that differentiation and cost leadership can co-exist. However, Porter insists that each generic strategy requires a different culture and a totally different philosophy. The problem is that Porter's generic strategies are too broad. It is not his logic that is flawed, but his basic premise that prescribes cost leadership strategy as the only route to market share leadership, and presents a narrow view of differentiation with a unique product--sold at a premium price--on the one hand, and a "standard, or no-frills" product on the other. Mintzburg (1988) says Porter's cost leadership strategy should be called "price differentiation": a strategy that is based on a lower price than that of the competition. He suggests that business strategy has two dimensions: differentiation and scope. Thus, setting scope aside, competitive strategy has only one component: differentiation. So, the key question is not whether to differentiate, but how? First, make customer-perceived quality as the foundation of competitive strategy because it is far more critical to long-term success than any other factor. Second, serve the middle class by competing in the mid-price segment, offering better quality than the competition at a somewhat higher price. 文摘针对经验傅里叶分解(empirical Fourier decomposition,EFD)在分析电能质量扰动时,其频带分割不具自适应的问题,提出了一种改进的EFD方法。首先,利用分段3次Hermite插值提取扰动信号归一化频谱的极大值包络,然后再搜索该包络的极大值,并计算其动态测度,将动态测度大于设定阈值的频率作为扰动信号的特征频率,以相邻特征频率的中点作为扰动信号频带分割的边界;其次,对分割的频带进行快速傅里叶逆变换(inverse fast Fourier transform,IFFT),得到对应频带的解析傅里叶固有频带函数(analytic Fourier intrinsic band function,AFIBF);最后,对分解出的各AFIBF分量进行Hilbert变换,提取出其扰动参数。通过对模拟信号和实测数据的分析,验证了所提方法的正确性和有效性。
