With the development of computer, electronics, and automatic control theory, motion control comes to a new stage. Great applications are based on the characteristics, stemming from advantages of electronics and modern control technology achievements, having a very good load matching property. Currently, microprocessor-based controllers are invariably used in most applications of drive electronics. The object of this work is to design a position control mechanism system, which can be used in test section of low speed wind tunnel. System load specifications and performance requirements are given. A comprehensive study of mathematical modeling of the mechanism components is given. Procedure for selection of various components with optimum parameters is discussed. After selection and calculation of system parameters to meet the performance requirements, a PID control method is adopted.展开更多

Recently,polymer electrolyte fuel cell(PEFC)begins to be used in a lot of fields such as automotive industry and power generation etc.Therefore our laboratory developed the simple maintenance equipment which can diagn...Recently,polymer electrolyte fuel cell(PEFC)begins to be used in a lot of fields such as automotive industry and power generation etc.Therefore our laboratory developed the simple maintenance equipment which can diagnose a performance degradation of PEFC instantaneously by analyzing transient response at a current interruption.However,because it was not able to diagnose some operating conditions,we determined that it was necessary to improve the diagnostic algorithm.Therefore we developed a new algorithm which sequentially approximates diagnostic parameters by the on-line algorithm of the method of least squares.The adequacy of a new algorithm was verified using a PEFC single cell of 25 cm^2 applied about two Membrane Electrode Assemblies(MEAs)((a)10 mg,(b)7.5 mg)with different amount of platinum.As a result,we judged that this algorithm was able to apply to the new diagnostics because it distinguished the difference of two MEAs in each parameter.展开更多
As for the application of electronic fuel injection (EFI) system to small gasoline generator set, mechanical speed controller cannot be coupled with EFI system and has the shortcomings of lagged regulation and poor ...As for the application of electronic fuel injection (EFI) system to small gasoline generator set, mechanical speed controller cannot be coupled with EFI system and has the shortcomings of lagged regulation and poor accuracy, a feed-forward control strategy based on load combined with proportional-integral-differential (PID) control strategy was proposed, and a digital speed controller applied to the electrical control system was designed. The detailed control strategy of the controller was intro- duced. The hardware design for the controller and the key circuits of motor driving, current sampling and angular signal captu- ring were given, and software architecture was discussed. Combined with a gasoline generator set mounted with EFI system, the controller parameters were tuned and optimized empirically by hardware in loop and bench test methods. Test results show that the speed deviation of generator set is low and the control system is stable in steady state; In transient state the control system responses quickly, has high stability under mutation loads especially when suddenly apply and remove 100% load, the speed deviation is within 8% of reference speed and the transient time is less than 5 s, satisfying the ISO standard.展开更多
