In this paper,determination of the characteristics of futures market in China is presented by the method of the phase-randomized surrogate data.There is a significant difference in the obtained critical values when th...In this paper,determination of the characteristics of futures market in China is presented by the method of the phase-randomized surrogate data.There is a significant difference in the obtained critical values when this method is used for random timeseries and for nonlinear chaotic timeseries.The singular value decomposition is used to reduce noise in the chaotic timeseries.The phase space of chaotic timeseries is decomposed into range space and null noise space.The original chaotic timeseries in range space is restructured.The method of strong disturbance based on the improved general constrained randomized method is further adopted to re-deternination.With the calculated results,an analysis on the trend of futures market of commodity is made in this paper.The results indicate that China's futures market of commodity is a complicated nonlinear system with obvious nonlinear chaotic characteristic.展开更多

The protoco...Recently, a novel kind of quantum key distribution called the round-robin differential phase-shift (RRDPS) protocol was proposed, which bounds the amount of leakage without monitoring signal disturbance. The protocol can be implemented by a weak coherent source. The security of this protocol with a simply characterized source has been proved. The application of a common phase shift can improve the secret key rate of the protocol. In practice, the randomized phase is discrete and the secret key rate is deviated from the continuous case. In this study, we analyze security of the RRDPS protocol with discrete-phase-randomized coherent state source and bound the secret key rate. We fix the length of each packet at 32 and 64, then simulate the secret key rates of the RRDPS protocol with discrete-phase randomization and continuous-phase randomization. Our simulation results show that the performance of the discrete-phase randomization case is close to the continuous counterpart with only a small number of discrete phases. The research is practically valuable for experimental implementation.展开更多
The vibration signals of machinery with various faults often show clear nonlinear characteristics.Currently,fractal dimension analysis as the common useful method for nonlinear signal analysis,is a kind of single frac...The vibration signals of machinery with various faults often show clear nonlinear characteristics.Currently,fractal dimension analysis as the common useful method for nonlinear signal analysis,is a kind of single fractal form,which only reflects the overall irregularity of signals,but cannot describe its local scaling properties.For comprehensive revealing of internal properties,a combinatorial method based on band-phase-randomized(BPR) surrogate data and multifractal is introduced.BPR surrogate data method is effective to eliminate nonlinearity in specified frequency band for a fault signal,which can be utilized to detect nonlinear degree in whole fault signal by nonlinear titration method,and the overall nonlinear distribution of fault signal is displayed in nonlinear characteristic curve that can be used to analyze the fault signal qualitatively.Then multifractal theory as a quantitative analysis method is used to describe geometrical characteristics and local scaling properties,and asymmetry coefficient of multifractal spectrum and multifractal entropy for fault signals are extracted as new criterions to diagnose machinery faults.Several typical faults include rotor misalignment,transversal crack,and static-dynamic rubbing fault are analyzed,and the results indicate that those faults can be distinguished by the proposed method effectively,which provides a qualitative and quantitative analysis way in the field of machinery fault diagnosis.展开更多

The sacrificial layers used can improve the lift-off process, and novel lithography layouts design can improve the mechanical strength of the fabricated nanostructures. The superiority of the self-aligned process includes low request for overlay accuracy, high compatibility with a variety of materials, and applicable to similar structure devices fabrication. Finally, a phase change memory with fully confined phase-change material node, with the length × width × height of 255 × 45 × 30 nm^3 was demonstrated.展开更多

Improper over-etching and bad step-coverage of physical vapor ...This paper mainly focuses on solving the low yield problem for lateral phase change random access memory with a fully confined phase change material node. Improper over-etching and bad step-coverage of physical vapor deposition were the main reasons for the poor contact quality, which leads to the low yield problem. Process improvement was carried out to better control over-etching within 10 nm. Atomic layer deposition process was used to replace physical vapor deposition to guarantee good step coverage. Contrasting cross-sectional photos taken by scanning electron microscopy showed great improvement in contact quality. The atom layer deposition process was demonstrated to have good prospects in nano-contact for phase change memory application.展开更多
