The present note is concerned with two connected and highly important fundamental questions of physics and cosmology, namely if E8E8 Lie symmetry group describes the universe and where cosmic dark energy comes from. Furthermore, we reason following Wheeler, Hartle and Hawking that since the boundary of a boundary is an empty set which models the quantum wave of the cosmos, then it follows that dark energy is a fundamental physical phenomenon associated with the boundary of the holographic boundary. This leads directly to a clopen universe which is its own Penrose tiling-like multiverse with energy density in full agreement with COBE, WMAP and Type 1a supernova cosmic measurements. 展开更多

We are looking at comparison of two action integrals and we identify the Lagrangian multiplier as setting up a constraint equation (on cosmological expansion). This is a direct result of the fourth equation of our manuscript which unconventionally compares the action integral of General relativity with the second derived action integral, which then permits Equation (5), which is a bound on the Cosmological constant. What we have done is to replace the Hamber Quantum gravity reference-based action integral with a result from John Klauder’s “Enhanced Quantization”. In doing so, with Padamabhan’s treatment of the inflaton, we then initiate an explicit bound upon the cosmological constant. The other approximation is to use the inflaton results and conflate them with John Klauder’s Action principle for a way, if we have the idea of a potential well, generalized by Klauder, with a wall of space time in the Pre Planckian-regime to ask what bounds the Cosmological constant prior to inflation, and to get an upper bound on the mass of a graviton. We conclude with a redo of a multiverse version of the Penrose cyclic conformal cosmology. Our objective is to show how a value of the rest mass of the heavy graviton is invariant from cycle to cycle. All this is possible due to Equation (4). And we compare all these with results of Reference [1] in the conclusion, while showing its relevance to early universe production of black holes, and the volume of space producing 100 black holes of value about 10^2 times Planck Mass. Initially evaluated in a space-time of about 10^3 Planck length, in spherical length, we assume a starting entropy of about 1000 initially. 展开更多

Using the discrete differential geometry of triangles, we could consider the global structure of closed trajectories (of triangles)... This paper shows the usefulness of discrete differential geometry in global analysis. Using the discrete differential geometry of triangles, we could consider the global structure of closed trajectories (of triangles) on a triangular mesh consisting of congruent isosceles triangles. As an example, we perform global analysis of an Escher-style trick art, i.e., a simpler version of “Ascending and Descending”. After defining the local structure on the trick art, we analyze its global structure and attribute its paradox to a singular point (i.e., a singular triangle) at the center. Then, the endless “Penrose stairs” is described as a closed trajectory around the isolated singular point. The approach fits well with graphical projection and gives a simple and intuitive example of the interaction between global and local structures. We could deal with higher dimensional objects as well by considering n-simplices (n > 2) instead of triangles. 展开更多

The Transition from Pre-Octonionic to Octonionic Gravity and How It May Be Pertinent to a Re-Do of the HUP for Metric Tensors 被引量:1

The quantum gravity problem that the notion of a quantum state, representing the structure of space-time at some instant, and the notion of the evolution of the state, does not get traction, since there are no real “... The quantum gravity problem that the notion of a quantum state, representing the structure of space-time at some instant, and the notion of the evolution of the state, does not get traction, since there are no real “instants”, is avoided by having initial Octonionic geometry embedded in a larger, nonlinear “pilot model” (semi classical) embedding structure. The Penrose suggestion of recycled space time avoiding a “big crunch” is picked as the embedding structure, so as to avoid the “instants” of time issue. Getting Octionic gravity as embedded in a larger, Pilot theory embedding structure may restore Quantum Gravity to its rightful place in early cosmology without the complication of then afterwards “Schrodinger equation” states of the universe, and the transformation of Octonionic gravity to existing space-time is explored via its possible linkage to a new version of the HUP involving metric tensors. We conclude with how specific properties of Octonion numbers algebra influence the structure and behavior of the early-cosmology model. This last point is raised in Section 14, and is akin to a phase transition from Pre-Octonionic geometry, in pre-Planckian space-time, to Octonionic geometry in Planckian space-time. A simple phase transition is alluded to;making this clear is as simple as realizing that Pre-Octonionic is for Pre-Planckian Space-time and Octonionic is for Planckian Space-time. We state that the Standard Model of physics occurs during Planckian Space-time. We also argue that the Standard Model does not apply to Pre Planckian Space-time. This is commensurate with the Octonion number system NOT applying in pre-Planckian space-time, but applying in Plankian space-time. And the last line of Equation (54) gives a minimum time step in pre-Planckian space-time when we do NOT have the Standard Model of physics, or Octonionic Geometry. 展开更多

Also we use as the variation of the time component of the metric tensor in Pre-Planckian space-time. Our objective is to find an effective magnetic field, to obtain the minimum scale factor in line with Non Linear Electrodynamics as given by Camara, et al., 2004. Our suggestion is based upon a new procedure for an effective current based upon an inflaton time exp (i times (frequency) times (cosmological time)) factor as a new rescaled inflaton which is then placed right into a Noether Current scalar field expression as given by Peskins, 1995. This is before the Causal surface with which is, right next to a quantum bounce, determined by , with the next shift in the Hubble parameter as set up to be then . And is an initial degree of freedom value of about 110. Upon calculation of the current, and a resulting magnetic field, for the space time bubble, we then next obtain a shift in energy, leading to a transition from too. We argue then that the delineation of the term is a precursor to filling in information as to the Weyl Tensor for near singularity measurements of starting space-time. Furthermore, as evidenced in Equations ((26) and (27)) of this document, we focus upon a “first order” that checks into if a cosmological “constant” would be invariant in time, or would be along the trajectory of the time, varying Quinessence models. We close this document, with Maxwell equations as to Post Newtonian theory, for Gravity, with our candidates as to a magnetic field included in, with what we think this pertains to, as far as Gravo Electric and Gravo Magnetic fields, and then make suggestions as to a quantum version of this methodology for future gravitational wave physics research. METHODS: This is a comparative study of the historical contr... AIM: To investigate whether a subcutaneous penrose drain would decrease the superficial surgical site infection (s-SSI) rate in elective colorectal surgery. METHODS: This is a comparative study of the historical control type. Intervention consisted of the use of penrose drain in elective open colorectal surgical wounds. The outcome was an incidence of s-SSI. The patients were risk stratified according to the depth of subcutaneous tissue.RESULTS: There were 131 patients (40 patients with high s-SSI risk) in the prior period (from July 2008 to June 2009, when no penrose drains were inserted) and 151 patients (75 patients with high s-SSI risk) in the latter period (from June 2010 to November 2011, when penrose drains were inserted). The overall s-SSI rate was 6.1% and 5.3% during the two periods (P = 0.770), and the s-SSI rate in the high s-SSI risk group was 15.0% and 8.0% (P = 0.242).CONCLUSION: Although penrose drain was not observed to significantly reduce s-SSI, there tended to be a reduced risk of s-SSI in the high s-SSI risk group. 展开更多

Our Methodology is to construct using a “trivial” solution to massive gravitons, and a nonsingular start for expansion of the universe. Our methodology has many unintended consequences, not the least is a relationship between a small time step, t, the minimum scale factor and even the tension or property values of the initial space-time wall, and that is a consequence of a “trivial” solution taking into account “massive” gravitons. <i>I.e.</i> this solution has a mass term times the partial derivative with respect to time of an expression in brackets. The expression in brackets is the cube of a scale factor minus the square of the scale factor. Bonus that this equation is set to zero. It is deemed trivial due to the insistence of having a singular solution. If that is dropped, we have a different venue. In addition, the Friedman equation for nonsingular cosmology can have a quadratic dependence upon a density (of space-time), leading to a way to incorporate right at the surface of the initial “space-time” bubble an uncertainty principle. From there we suggest a first principle Schrodinger equation, with the caveat that time does not exist, within the space-time nonsingular bubble, but is formed right afterwards. From there we again form solutions for strength of GW signals and suggestions as to polarization states. Our quest is motivated by our last articles question, where “We conclude by stating the following question. Can extra dimensions come from a Multiverse feed into Pre-Planckian space-time? See Theorem at the end of this publication. Our answer is in the affirmative, and it has intellectual similarities to George Chapline’s work with Black hole physics”. We consider generalizations of the Radon-Schmid transform on coherent DG/H-Modules, with the intention of obtaining the equivalence between geometric objects (vector bundles) and algebraic objects (D-Modules) characterizing conformal classes in the space-time that determine a space moduli [1] on coherent sheaves for the securing solutions in field theory [2]. In a major context, elements of derived categories like D-branes and heterotic strings are considered, and using the geometric Langlands program, a moduli space is obtained of equivalence between certain geometrical pictures (non-conformal world sheets [3]) and physical stacks (derived sheaves), that establishes equivalence between certain theories of super symmetries of field of a Penrose transform that generalizes the implications given by the Langlands program. This entity, most commonly caused by multiple organisms is... Background: Necrotizing fasciitis is a soft tissue infection that occurs predominantly in adults. Although rare, only 70 cases have been reported in neonates. This entity, most commonly caused by multiple organisms is often fatal, with 50% mortality. The combination of a low incidence and high mortality in this subgroup strengthens the need for early diagnosis, prompt recognition and immediate surgical treatment in order to improve survival. Aim: The aim of this case report is to bring awareness of a clinical condition that relies mostly on physical examination and where early diagnosis and immediate surgical treatment are needed in order to improve survival. Case presentation: We report the case of an 8-day-old boy presenting neonatal necrotizing fasciitis after circumcision. Patient presented with lower back erythema and areas of fluctuation. He was started on antibiotic therapy and 24 hours after admission, he was taken to the operating room for multiple fasciotomies, debridement and cleansing of affected areas. Findings were consistent with necrotizing fasciitis. After surgical intervention, local care was given until complete healing was achieved, approximately one month after admission. Conclusion: The surgeon must be attentive for the possible occurrence of this lethal infection that may develop post operatively after clean or clean-contaminated procedures. Preparation for treating these patients immediately with adequate fluid resuscitation, appropriate antibiotics and aggressive surgical debridement of non-viable tissue will provide the maximal potential for recovery. These prompt measures will offer the best chance for survival and eventually decrease the 50% mortality rate associated to the neonatal population. 展开更多

The topics, while not original, are in strict fidelity with the topics the author was allowed to present in ICRANET Zeldovich 4, 2020. We present a history of the evolution of the cosmological constant “issue” starting with its introduction by Einstein for a static universe, which did not work out because his static universe solution to the Ricci Scalar problem, and GR was and is UNSTABLE. Another model of the cosmological constant has a radius of the Universe specified which is proportional to one over the square root of the cosmological constant, whereas our idea is to use the matching of two spacetime first integrals, for isolating a nonperturbative cosmological constant solution right at the surface of the start of expansion of the universe, <i>i.e.</i> a phenomenological solution to the cosmological constant involves scaling of a radius of the PRESENT universe. Our presented idea is to instead solve the Cosmological constant at the surface of the initial space-time bubble, using the initially derived time step, delta t, as input for the Cosmological constant. As it is, the Zeldovich 4 Section I was in was for Dark Energy, so in solving the initial value of the Cosmological constant, I am giving backing to one of the models of DE as to why the Universe reaccelerates one billion years ago. We conclude as to a reference to a multiverse generalization of Penrose Cyclic Conformal Cosmology as input into the initial nonsingular space-time bubble. 展开更多
