In this research, EIS (electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) technique was utilized to study the pitting corrosion behaviour of AA5083-H321 aluminum-magnesium alloy in 3.5% NaCl solution. Impedance spectra were obtained during 240 h of exposure of the sample to the test solution. The surface and cross-section of the samples were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and EDAX (energy dispersive analysis of X-ray) analysis. The results indicated that as the resistance of the passive layer on intermetallic particles is very small, this parameter on the sample surface layers is controlled by that of pure passive layer. However, the capacitors in the proposed equivalent circuit are replaced with the constant phase elements (CPE), due to non-uniformity and occurrence of pitting corrosion on the surface. The outward diffusion of Al^+3 ions through the passive layer and the thickening of this layer cause the impedance decrease in the first 24 h and increase afterwards. The detachment of intermetallic particles from some of pits and the accumulation of the corrosion products inside some others are factors that prevents the continuation of cathodic reactions on the top of the intermetallic particles. 展开更多

采用X射线光电子能谱(XPS)对铅锡合金表面钝化层的组分与结构进行分析,目的是要确定钝化层中各元素的化学价态和存在形式,并试图明确锡对钝化膜导电能力的影响。结果表明:钝化膜具有分层结构,表层由SnO2,SnO,PbSO4,PbOx(1<x<2)和P... 采用X射线光电子能谱(XPS)对铅锡合金表面钝化层的组分与结构进行分析,目的是要确定钝化层中各元素的化学价态和存在形式,并试图明确锡对钝化膜导电能力的影响。结果表明:钝化膜具有分层结构,表层由SnO2,SnO,PbSO4,PbOx(1<x<2)和PbOx·Sn1-xO2组成,内层为SnO2,SnO,PbO,PbOx和PbOx·Sn1-xO2。内层钝化膜的导电性优于表层,锡能促进生成电阻远小于PbSO4和PbO的铅的过渡氧化物PbOx(1<x<2),从而提高其电导率。但是,内层的物质构成和分布并不均匀,出现了非导电区(极少量)和导电区并存的现象,而外层并没有类似情况发生。钝化膜自外向内含铅量和含锡量均呈上升趋势,含氧量呈下降趋势,锡的增值幅度随母体含锡量的减少而增大,但铅浓度的变化规律与之相反。 展开更多

介绍被动式超低能耗建筑对热桥的控制和连续气密层的设计要求。分析某钢结构被动式超低能耗建筑基本概况、被动式建筑技术使用情况、项目的不足之处。以项目设计为基础,对项目部分用于降低热桥效应的设计效果进行验证,采用有限元工具分... 介绍被动式超低能耗建筑对热桥的控制和连续气密层的设计要求。分析某钢结构被动式超低能耗建筑基本概况、被动式建筑技术使用情况、项目的不足之处。以项目设计为基础,对项目部分用于降低热桥效应的设计效果进行验证,采用有限元工具分别分析取消外墙条板外挑设计、拉结杆穿墙贯穿洞保温嵌填、增加雨水管支架隔热垫片后增量热桥效应。结果表明,增量热桥效应较小,分别为0.004 W/(m^(2)·K)、0.002 W/(m^(2)·K)和0.0035 W/(m^(2)·K),设计过程中可以考虑取消简化节点构造提升施工可建造性。分析项目气密层构成形式,并指出内墙抹灰构成的气密层的不利因素。在此基础上,提出对于钢结构被动式超低能耗建筑的气密层宜设置在外墙外侧,由外墙的防水砂浆构成。 展开更多

The composition of passive layer of chalcopyrite was investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), accompanied with cyclic voltammetry(CV). The leaching experiment shows that the extraction rates of Cu with leaching for 30 d by sterile control and microorganisms are 4.0% and 21.5%, respectively. In comparison, 3.8% and 10.5% Fe are leached by sterile control and microorganisms, respectively. The results of XPS studies suggest that Fe atoms dissolve preferentially from the chalcopyrite lattice, and disulfide(S22-), polysulfide(Sn2-) and elemental sulfur(S0) are identified on the chalcopyrite surfaces leached by sterile control and microorganisms. Additionally, sulfate(SO42-) is detected on the chalcopyrite surfaces leached by microorganisms, and most of it probably originates from jarosite. The analysis of CV results reveals that metal-deficient sulfide(Cu1-xFe1-yS2-z, yx) and elemental sulfur(S0) passivate the surface of chalcopyrite electrode. The elemental sulfur and/or jarosite coating on the chalcopyrite surface may have impact on the leaching process; however, the disulfide, polysulfide or metal-deficient sulfide plays a more key role in the chalcopyrite leaching. 展开更多

The electrochemical corrosion mechanisms of Mg alloys were extensively studied in previous investigations of different chemical com-positions,modified surface states and various electrolyte conditions.However,recent research focused on the active state of Mg dissolution,leading to unresolved effects of secondary phases adjacent to a stableα-solid solution passive layer.The present study investigates the fundamental electrochemical corrosion mechanisms of three different Laves phases with varying phase morphologies and phase fractions in the passive state of Mg-Al-Ca alloys.The microstructure was characterized by(transmission-)electron microscopy and synchrotron-based transmission X-ray microscopy.The electrochemical corrosion resistance was determined with a standard three-electrode setup and advanced in-situ flow cell measurements.A new electrochemical activity sequence(C15>C36>α-Mg>C14)was obtained,as a result of a stable passive layer formation on theα-solid solution.Furthermore,nm-scale Mg-rich precipitates were identified within the Laves phases,which tend to inhibit the corrosion kinetics. 展开更多

The effects of chloride and thiosulfate ions on localized corrosion of alloy 800 are investigated through dynamical observation of the change in phase image of the diffusion layer during passive film breakdown using digital holography. The results indicate that solution chemistry has a significant effect on film breakdown and diffusion layer. The phase distribution changes at different applied potentials show that in the process of film breakdown, dissolution of metal ions from pitting is not remarkable in chloride-only solution, whereas dissolution of metal ions is significantly high in thiosulfate and chloride solution. Thiosulfate has a combined effect with chloride ions in passive film degradation. 展开更多

In this paper, several mathematical models for the large scale structures in some special kinds of mixing layers, which might be practically useful for enhancing the mixing, are proposed. First, the linear growth rate of the large scale structures in the mixing layers was calculated. Then, using the much improved weakly non-linear theory, combined with the energy method, the non-linear evolution of large scale structures in two special mixing layer configurations is calculated. One of the mixing lavers has equal magnitudes of the upstream velocity vectors, while the angles between the velocity vectors and the trailing edge were pi /2 - phi and pi /2 + phi, respectively. The other mixing layer was generated by a splitter-plate with a 45-degree-sweep trailing edge. 展开更多

This article introduces the fabrication technology processes of the capacitive pressure sensor based on the low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) material. Filling the cavity with different materials as a sacrificial layer is mainly discussed, and two different materials are chosen in the fabrication. It is found that the cavity filled with polyimide expands largely during sintering, while carbon ESL49000 material filled is more preferable to keep the cavity flat. Finally, the structure leaving without an air evacuation channel is designed and tested in a built-up pressure environment, the frequency measured decreases approximately linearly with the pressure applied, which proves the design leaving no air evacuation channel advisable. 展开更多

An attempt was made to build up a thick and compact oxide layer rapidly by pre-treating the Pb-Ag-Nd anode in fluoride-containing H2SO4 solution. The passivation reaction of Pb-Ag-Nd anode during pre-treatment process was investigated using cyclic voltammetry, linear scanning voltammetry, environmental scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. The results show that Pb F2 and PbSO4 are formed near the potential of Pb/PbSO4 couple. The pre-treatment in fluoride-containing H2SO4 solution contributes to the formation of a thick, compact and adherent passive film. Furthermore, pre-treatment in fluoride-containing H2SO4 solution also facilitates the formation of PbO2 on the anodic layer, and the reason could be attributed to the formation of more PbF2 and PbSO4 during the pre-treatment which tend to transform to PbO2 during the following electrowinning process. In addition, the anodic layer on anode with pre-treatment in fluoride-containing H2SO4 solution is thick and compact, and its predominant composition is β-PbO2. In summary, the pre-treatment in fluoride-containing H2SO4 solution benefits the formation of a desirable protective layer in a short time. 展开更多
