Basic idea is based on knowledge of harmonic spectrum of the sources and/or appliances, respectively. Obviously, one need to know voltage harmonic components of voltage sources (renewable with inverters,...), and current harmonic components generated by non-linear appliances (rectifiers,...). Method of investigation lies on decomposition of real electric circuit into n-harmonic separated equivalent schemes for each harmonic component. Then transient analysis will be done for each scheme separately using "impedance harmonic matrices". The important fact is that each equivalent scheme is now linearized and therefore easily calculated. Finally, the effects of each investigated schemes arc summed into resulting quantities of real non-linear electric circuit.展开更多

Details about the internal functioning and topology connections are given in order to understand the multi-pulse converter. Using the 24 and 48-pulse topologies switching functions models are presented. The models correctly represent commutations of semiconductor devices in multi-pulse converters, which consequently allows a precise representation of harmonic components. Additionally, time domain models that represent harmonic components are derived based on the switching functions models. Switching functions, as well as time domain models are carried out in the original abc power system coordinates. Effectiveness and precision of the models are validated against simulations performed in Matlab/Simulink?. Additionally, in order to accomplish a more realistic comparison, a laboratory prototype set up is used to assess simulated waveforms.展开更多

The ultrasonic nonlinear signals are measured in the plastic deformed30Cr2Ni4 Mo V specimens, and the results show that the nonlinear parameter monotonically increases with the plastic strain, and that the variation of nonlinear parameter in the weld region is maximal compared with those in the heat-affected zone and base regions. Microscopic images relating to the microstructure evolution of the weld region are studied to reveal that the change of nonlinear parameter is mainly attributed to dislocation evolutions in the process of plastic deformation loading. Meanwhile, the finite element model is developed to investigate nonlinear behaviors of ultrasonic waves propagating in a plastic deformed material based on the nonlinear stress–strain constitutive relationship in a medium. Moreover, a pinned string model is adopted to simulate dislocation evolution during plastic damages. The simulation and experimental results show that they are in good consistency with each other, and reveal a rising acoustic nonlinearity due to the variations of dislocation length and density and the resulting stress concentration.展开更多
