Specific plant furnishing patterns were proposed respectively for 6 kinds of green spaces in residential areas: roadside green spaces, public green spaces, green spaces around residences, green spaces around public buildings, peripheral green spaces and vertical green spaces. Application cases in high-rise residential areas, multi-storey residential areas, and low-storey residential areas were taken to show feasibility of these plant furnishing patterns.展开更多
Definition of urban waterfront green spaces is given,its design principles are summarized as:human-centered,ecology-first,integrated nature and humanity,highlighting regional characteristics,unified planning and overa...Definition of urban waterfront green spaces is given,its design principles are summarized as:human-centered,ecology-first,integrated nature and humanity,highlighting regional characteristics,unified planning and overall coordination.Design of ecological plant community,design of traffic network and revetment management is analyzed to explore design contents and techniques of urban waterfront green spaces.In terms of the design of ecological plant community,the selection of landscape plants and landscaping of waterfront green spaces are analyzed;traffic network is further classified into water traffic,waterfront pathway,and driveway system;waterfront revetment management is specifically discussed from the original natural revetment,natural revetment reinforced by natural designs,and natural revetment reinforced by artificial designs.Problems in the modern urban waterfront green spaces are proposed,such as contradictions between diversified functions and simple designs,lack of regional characteristics,viewers are kept away from water;countermeasures are also given in the hope of pushing urban waterfront green spaces in a healthy development road,so as to improve the overall landscape quality of urban waterfront green spaces.展开更多
The current work seeks firstly the integration of a rainwater reuse system that will be of use in the watering of the green spaces, and secondly the re-use of purified water in the irrigation of agriculture spaces, wh...The current work seeks firstly the integration of a rainwater reuse system that will be of use in the watering of the green spaces, and secondly the re-use of purified water in the irrigation of agriculture spaces, which are in the nearby of wastewater treatment plant. The results show that 41% of the green spaces in the city of Fez require a renovation and installation of adequate watering systems taking into account the specificity of the city which is crossed by several rivers badly exploited for watering. The purified wastewater is of much better quality than the Moroccan reuse standards and is discharged with a flow that is large enough for the irrigation water requirements of the fields close to wastewater treatment plant.展开更多
