It is found that the correlation output deterior...The influence of frequency modulation (FM) interfer- ence on correlation detection performance of the pseudo random code continuous wave (PRC-CW) radar is analyzed. It is found that the correlation output deteriorates greatly when the FM inter- ference power exceeds the anti-jamming limit of the radar. Accord- ing to the fact that the PRC-CW radar echo is a wideband pseudo random signal occupying the whole TF plane, while the FM in- terference only concentrates in a small portion, a new method is proposed based on adaptive short-time Fourier transform (STFT) and time-varying filtering for FM interference suppression. This method filters the received signal by using a binary mask to excise only the portion of the TF plane corrupted by the interference. Two types of interference, linear FM (LFM) and sinusoidal FM (SFM), under different signal-to-jamming ratio (S JR) are studied. It is shown that the proposed method can effectively suppress the FM interference and improve the performance of target detection.展开更多
This paper focuses on the design of continuous phase-modulated systems and simplified receiver for highmobility wireless communications.A class of spectrally efficient coded modulation systems is proposed and analyzed...This paper focuses on the design of continuous phase-modulated systems and simplified receiver for highmobility wireless communications.A class of spectrally efficient coded modulation systems is proposed and analyzed in terms of Euclidean distance and spectral efficiency.Moreover,the simplified detector based on mismatched receiver is designed to reduce the detection complexity exponentially for partial response systems.To deal with the fast time-varying channels without channel state information,a class of noncoherent detection algorithms for continuous phase modulation systems is developed to offer near-coherent performance.The proposed system is assessed over both the additive white Gaussian noise and fast-fading channels.Numerical and simulated results show that the proposed system offers not only high spectral efficiency but also near-optimum performance over fast time-varying scenarios.展开更多

In principle, it is possible to transform a 2.45 GHz source radiat...Continuous microwave propagation through a time-varying plasma and frequency up-conversion has been demonstrated by particle-in-cell (PIC) simulation. In principle, it is possible to transform a 2.45 GHz source radiation to an arbitrary larger frequency radiation. The energy conversion is also obtained by the theoretical analysis and has been testified by PIC simulation. The source wave was propagating in a parallel plate waveguide locally filled with the ionized gas. In this paper we would discuss the effects of the rise time, the plasma length, the switching time and the collision frequency on the energy conversion, and the methods to improve the upshift wave energy are proposed. We also put forward the new concept of the critical values of the rise time and the source wave amplitude to provide a theoretical basis for the selection of parameters in the experiments.展开更多
In general,the material properties,loads,resistance of the prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge in different construction stages are time-varying.So,it is essential to monitor the internal force state wh...In general,the material properties,loads,resistance of the prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge in different construction stages are time-varying.So,it is essential to monitor the internal force state when the bridge is in construction.Among them,how to assess the safety is one of the challenges.As the continuous monitoring over a long-term period can increase the reliability of the assessment,so,based on a large number of monitored strain data collected from the structural health monitoring system(SHMS)during construction,a calculation method of the punctiform time-varying reliability is proposed in this paper to evaluate the stress state of this type bridge in cantilever construction stage by using the basic reliability theory.At the same time,the optimal stress distribution function in the bridge mid-span base plate is determined when the bridge is closed.This method can provide basis and direction for the internal force control of this type bridge in construction process.So,it can reduce the bridge safety and quality accidents in construction stages.展开更多
提出了一种基于连续小波变换(continuous walelet transform,CWT)和奇异值分解(singular value decomposition,SVD)相结合的提升小波系数SVD辨识信号振荡频率和模式信息提取及信号去噪的新方法。克服了噪声较大或者密集模态时,小波脊线...提出了一种基于连续小波变换(continuous walelet transform,CWT)和奇异值分解(singular value decomposition,SVD)相结合的提升小波系数SVD辨识信号振荡频率和模式信息提取及信号去噪的新方法。克服了噪声较大或者密集模态时,小波脊线不清晰甚至会出现混叠和交叉难以提取频率的情况,根据提升的小波系数奇异值分解频率向量识别各阶振荡模式的频率。同时选用小波能量系数来识别主导振荡模式,用小波软阈值去噪和SVD分解后矩阵重构来进行信号去噪。CWT可以处理含时变振荡模式的低频振荡信号,且对模式参数具有较高的辨识精度。仿真算例验证了算法的有效性和适用性。展开更多
