Background Many people who are gender variant have undiagnosed gender dysphoria,resulting in delayed receipt of gender-affirming support and prolonged distress in living with their gender-non-conforming sex.The Utrech...Background Many people who are gender variant have undiagnosed gender dysphoria,resulting in delayed receipt of gender-affirming support and prolonged distress in living with their gender-non-conforming sex.The Utrecht Gender Dysphoria Scale-Gender Spectrum(UGDS-GS)is a newly developed tool that measures dissatisfaction with gender identity and expression.However,there is no translated version of this tool in Thai.Moreover,the sensitivity,specificity and cut-off point of the UGDS-GS to detect gender dysphoria in people who are transgender remain unknown.Aims This study translated the UGDS-GS into Thai and then examined the validity and reliability of the Thai UGDS-GS.Methods 185 participants with and without gender dysphoria were selected from the Gender Variation Clinic in Ramathibodi Hospital and from social media platforms.The UGDS-GS was translated into Thai according to the World Health Organization(WHO)guidelines on translation.The medical records of patients with gender dysphoria and semi-structured interviews were used to confirm the diagnosis of gender dysphoria.Subsequently,the validity and reliability of the instrument were analysed.Results The mean age of participants was 30.43(7.98)years among the 51 assigned males(27.6%)and 134 assigned females(72.4%)at birth.The Thai UGDS-GS average score was 77.82(9.71)for those with gender dysphoria(n=95)and 46.03(10.71)for those without gender dysphoria(n=90).Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.962,showing excellent internal consistency.In addition,exploratory factor analysis showed compatibility with the original version’s metrics.The value of the area under the curve was 0.976(95%confidence interval:0.954 to 0.998),indicating outstanding concordance.At the cut-off point of‘60’,sensitivity and specificity were good(96.84%and 91.11%,respectively).Conclusions The Thai UGDS-GS is an excellent,psychometrically reliable and valid tool for screening gender dysphoria in clinical and community settings in Thailand.The cut-off point of‘60’scores suggests a po展开更多

The difference between pharmacosensitive epilepsy and pharmacoresistant epilepsy remains poorly understood. The present study aimed to observe the hippocampus SV2 A protein expression in amygdale-kindling pharmacoresistant epileptic rats. The pharmacosensitive epileptic rats served as control. Amygdaloid-kindling model of epilepsy was established in 100 healthy adult male Sprague-Dawley rats. The kindled rat model of epilepsy was used to select pharmacoresistance by testing their seizure response to phenytoin and phenobarbital. The selected pharmacoresistant rats were assigned to a pharmacoresistant epileptic group（PRE group）. Another 12 pharmacosensitive epileptic rats（PSE group） served as control. Immunohistochemistry,real-time PCR and Western blotting were used to determine SV2 A expression in the hippocampus tissue samples from both the PRE and the PSE rats. Immunohistochemistry staining showed that SV2 A was mainly accumulated in the cytoplasm of the neurons,as well as along their dendrites throughout all subfields of the hippocampus. Immunoreactive staining level of SV2A-positive cells was 0.483±0.304 in the PRE group and 0.866±0.090 in the PSE group（P〈0.05）. Real-time PCR analysis demonstrated that 2-ΔΔCt value of SV2 A m RNA was 0.30±0.43 in the PRE group and 0.76±0.18 in the PSE group（P〈0.05）. Western blotting analysis obtained the similar findings（0.27±0.21 versus 1.12±0.21,P〈0.05）. PRE rats displayed a significant decrease of SV2 A in the brain. SV2 A may be associated with the pathogenesis of intractable epilepsy of the amygdaloid-kindling rats.展开更多

The results indicate that the bands near 3 600 - 3 700 cm^-1 belong to the stretching absorption band VOH, the bands in 948 - 1 100 cm^-1 axe assigned to the stretching vibraling band Usvo, and the bands at 600 570 and 440 cm^-1 respectively belong to the bending vibration band VOH, δMg-O and δSi-O. The serpentine cat＇ s eye includes two types： chrysotile and antigorite. Chrysotile has a sharp and intensive band at 3 688 cm^-1 and a weak band at 3 643 cm^-1 , while antigorite has only one intensive band in the region. At vibration band VSi-O, chrysotile and antigorite have a similar feature at 1 071 cm^-1, but the band at 980 cm^-1 in anfigorite has been split into two bands in chrysotile - a strong one at 1 027 cm^-1 and a weak one at 949 cm^-1. In addition, antigorite has a characteristic bending vibrating band δMg-O at 570 cm^-1. Based on the analysis of the feature of crystal structure, their IR differences axe well explained.展开更多

The most suitable price should be determined from the view point of customers, and it is extremely important to implement a high quality product corresponding to the real need of customers. It may have close relationship between cost and an expense to implement the individual inherent attribute of system product. Also, it may have close relationship between production cost and price of product. For the purpose of improvement of the customer satisfaction for quality of system product, the method of quantitative quality requirement and evaluation based on the ISO/IEC9126 quality model that includes six quality characteristics is widely recognized. In the precedent study, I have introduced the requirements definition method for the quality of system product based on the system quality model defined in ISO/IEC9126 and proposed the effectiveness of it statistically. In the previous study, I have also confirmed the relationship between inherent attributes of the product and quantitative result of the measured value of total customer satisfaction from the view point of six quality characteristics statistically. I performed the development of the prediction model to estimate the total customer satisfaction for the system product from the view point of inherent attribute of the product. And, I have proposed the effectiveness of application of the estimated prediction model and possibility of improvement of the total customer satisfaction of a system product. Based on the result of previous study, in this paper, I propose the result of investigation of influence of price to customer satisfaction, and the possibility of application of estimated prediction model for improvement of the total customer satisfaction of system product based on the price of product. Its composition has been repeatedly analyzed by means of electron microprobe technique, the chemical formula being determined as PtCuAsS2 which is a kind of sulfur-arsenic compound scarcely known. Its crystal structure has also been made by X-ray diffraction method on single crystal.
