Multiple Episodes of Zircon Growth during Anatectic Metamorphism of Metasedimentary Rocks in Collisional Orogens:Constraints from Felsic Granulites in the Bohemian Massif 被引量:2

Zircon is a key accessary mineral for metamorphic geochronology and geochemical tracing,but it has been a challenge to interpret its complex chemical zoning and age record acquired during multiple episodes of anatectic metamorphism in collisional orogens.This is illustrated by a combined study of petrography,phase equilibrium modeling and metamorphic P-T-t determination for granulites from the Bohemian Massif in the Variscan Orogen.These rocks record multiple episodes of zircon growth during anatectic metamorphism.They started from the compressional heating for prograde metamorphism to high-pressure(HP)to ultrahigh-pressure(UHP)eclogite facies with low degrees of partial melting.Afterwards,they underwent a decompressional stage from UHP eclogite facies to HP granulite facies for dehydration melting.These were followed by a further decompressional stage either to kyanite granulite facies or to sillimanite granulite facies at ultrahigh-temperature(UHT)conditions.Episodes of zircon growth are linked to specific metamorphic conditions for peritectic reactions on the basis of zoning patterns,trace element signatures,index mineral inclusions in dated domains and textural relationships to coexisting minerals.The results indicate that relict zircon domains are preserved even at UHT granulite facies conditions.A few zircon domains in the kyanite granulite grew during the prograde to peak UHP metamorphism,possibly corresponding to consumption of biotite and plagioclase but growth of garnet.During the decompressional exhumation to the HP granulite-facies,relict or prograde zircon domains were mostly dissolved into anatectic melts produced by muscovite breakdown.Most zircon grains grew during this transition to the HP granulite-facies in the kyanite granulite and are chemically related to continuous growth of garnet,whereas abundant zircon grains grew subsequently at the UHT granulite facies in the sillimanite granulite and are chemically related to garnet breakdown reactions.Another peak of zircon growth occurred at the fin 展开更多

辽西兴城钓鱼台地区分布一套花岗质杂岩,是新太古代"绥中花岗岩"的重要组成部分。花岗质杂岩以似斑状花岗闪长岩和石英闪长岩为主,少量细粒黑云闪长岩(包体)及脉状花岗岩,各类岩石接触关系明确,本文定义为"钓鱼台花岗岩&... 辽西兴城钓鱼台地区分布一套花岗质杂岩,是新太古代"绥中花岗岩"的重要组成部分。花岗质杂岩以似斑状花岗闪长岩和石英闪长岩为主,少量细粒黑云闪长岩(包体)及脉状花岗岩,各类岩石接触关系明确,本文定义为"钓鱼台花岗岩"。锆石U-Pb同位素测试结果显示似斑状花岗闪长岩、石英闪长岩、脉状花岗岩的形成年龄分别为2538±20Ma、2476±56Ma、2470±18Ma,同为新太古代末期热事件的产物。通过该花岗岩组合的宏观-微观组构解析表明,似斑状花岗闪长岩表现为均匀块状构造,具有深熔花岗质岩浆的典型堆晶结构;细粒黑云闪长岩为细粒结构,呈小型暗色包体分布在似斑状花岗闪长岩中,包体的塑性变形、捕掳晶、淬冷边及反向脉等组构发育,具有铁镁质基性岩浆加入同深熔花岗闪长岩并快速冷却的特征;暗色的石英闪长岩主要分布在似斑状花岗闪长岩之下,接触带附近似斑状花岗闪长岩中的钾长石变斑晶明显增多,显示闪长质岩浆"底垫"侵位加热的特征;脉状花岗岩同时穿切似斑状花岗闪长岩和石英闪长岩,具有熔体富集脉体的结构特征。各类岩石中变形组构均不发育。钓鱼台花岗岩记录了新太古代末期地壳深熔和壳幔相互作用过程,岩石组构研究表明新太古代地壳再造作用是一个"静态"多期次的缓慢深熔过程,伴有同期幔源基性物质加入并混合,以及随后大规模的基性岩浆底侵。由此推断钓鱼台花岗岩形成的构造背景为幔源岩浆垂向底侵过程,可能是与俯冲带关联不明显的岩浆弧环境。 展开更多

Neoproterozoic U-Th-REE-bearing Pegmatites in Wadi Ibib, South Eastern Desert, Egypt: Structural and Geochemical Measures for a Syn-Tectonic Anatectic Model of Formation

The Wadi Ibib area is situated in the northern part of the Neoproterozoic Hamisana Shear Zone(HSZ), which is a high strain zone evolved during the late stages of the Pan-African orogeny, likely as a tectonic escape structure. Amphibolite facies pelitic metasedimentary windows crop out in the axial parts of the HSZ and are noticeably associated with numerous N-trending pegmatite dikes. Whole-rock geochemistry of the pegmatites reveals a peraluminous(S-type) affinity, with low K/Rb ratios and elevated concentrations of U, Th, REE, Rb, Li, Cs, Y, Nb and Ta. Structurally, the pegmatite sets intrude along the shear plane of the HSZ, corresponding to the regional N-trending tectonic fabrics, such as axial planar foliation and dextral-shearing in the metasedimentary host rock. Field relationships, including structural context, coupled with geochemical characteristics of the Wadi Ibib pegmatites, do not support their formation as a complementary part of evolved granitic magmas. Space-localized decompression-induced partial melting of peraluminous garnet-bearing metapelites was alternatively the underlying process for formation of these pegmatites. Such decompression was associated with regional escape tectonics and stress axes permutations during the late deformation stage(D3) in the evolution of the south Eastern Desert terrane, due to end-orogeny system pressure-release. 展开更多

西藏南部南迦巴瓦地区位于喜马拉雅造山带的东端,该区保留了大量新生代变质和深熔作用记录,是研究喜马拉雅碰撞造山带演化过程的关键地区。本文在野外地质调查和室内显微岩石学观察基础上,通过锆石U-Pb年代学和全岩地球化学研究,分析南... 西藏南部南迦巴瓦地区位于喜马拉雅造山带的东端,该区保留了大量新生代变质和深熔作用记录,是研究喜马拉雅碰撞造山带演化过程的关键地区。本文在野外地质调查和室内显微岩石学观察基础上,通过锆石U-Pb年代学和全岩地球化学研究,分析南迦巴瓦地区变质岩和淡色花岗岩的年代学意义和地球化学特征。研究区露头可见含石榴子石淡色花岗岩平行片麻理侵入到变泥质岩中,该变泥质岩为含石榴子石的黑云斜长片麻岩,其继承锆石年龄为1617~565 Ma,还记录了28.1~16.4 Ma的新生代变质作用。含石榴子石淡色花岗岩形成于23.3±0.4 Ma,经历了18.4~8.6 Ma的岩浆事件,是南迦巴瓦地区构造减压过程中变质岩多次部分熔融的产物。该淡色花岗岩具有较高的SiO_(2)、K_(2)O、FeOT和铝饱和指数A/CNK,较低的Al_(2)O_(3)、CaO、Na_(2)O和Na_(2)O/K_(2)O,为过铝质富钾花岗岩。其富集Rb、K、Pb,亏损Ba、Sr、Nb、Ta、Nd、Zr、Ti,具有强烈的Eu负异常和海鸥状稀土分布模式,较高的Rb/Sr、Nb/Ta和较低的Zr/Hf,可能与发育大量的石榴子石并经历了较高程度的斜长石、独居石分离结晶作用和熔体结构改变有关。 展开更多

南秦岭佛坪地区早中生代变质-深熔-变形作用的锆石U-Pb年代学制约 被引量:5

本文通过几何学与运动学等构造变形分析,勾勒出南秦岭佛坪地区龙草坪混合岩化片麻岩穹隆、佛坪县城片麻岩穹隆以及秧田坝—十里铺走滑剪切带的基本形态。同时,对该区混合岩、麻粒岩以及变形花岗岩进行了系统的岩石学与年代学研究。结果... 本文通过几何学与运动学等构造变形分析,勾勒出南秦岭佛坪地区龙草坪混合岩化片麻岩穹隆、佛坪县城片麻岩穹隆以及秧田坝—十里铺走滑剪切带的基本形态。同时,对该区混合岩、麻粒岩以及变形花岗岩进行了系统的岩石学与年代学研究。结果表明,混合岩的锆石具有明显的核-边结构,其中中色体年龄集中在(211.8±1.9)Ma,浅色体中锆石边部年龄为(203.7±1.6)Ma,而继承核部则显示了与本地区泥盆纪变质沉积岩中碎屑锆石一致的年龄谱系。麻粒岩的锆石也具有明显的核-边结构,核与边分别得到(201.5±7.0)Ma和(188.1±1.5)Ma的加权平均年龄。伟晶岩和细粒花岗岩样年龄分别为(200.4±2.0)Ma和(201.1±1.5)Ma,误差范围内一致。穹隆一带的副片麻岩和走滑剪切带南侧变质沉积岩分别得到(198.1±2.2)Ma和(196.1±2.1)Ma的变质年龄。佛坪县城片麻岩穹隆一带的变形花岗岩年龄为(205.5±3.0)Ma。综合以上构造变形与变质-深熔-岩浆作用的研究,我们构建了佛坪地区早中生代构造演化序列,并提出片麻岩穹隆侵位过程中得到了作为勉略带东侧部分的秧田坝—十里铺韧性走滑剪切带活动的促进。并认为南秦岭构造带至少在217~212Ma之前仍处于俯冲环境,于211~201Ma进入同碰撞背景,并于200~190Ma完成同碰撞向伸展体制的转变。 展开更多
