But it's difficult to distinguish trehalose from the similar bisaccharides. If the reaction of the reduced bisaccharides with phenyl hydrazine to form osazone is used, then the disturbance of the similar reduced bisaccharides can be rapidly and conveniently excluded, or via the ammoniated-reduced reaction, aliline can be specially bounded to the reduced hydroxyl of the bisaccharides.
