In this era of agile computing, service-oriented architecture has become increasingly popular for achieving efficient and agile business solutions that can maintain changes demanded by the business world. This paper proposes a methodology to identify services from a set of class diagrams and use case models in order to generate a service oriented model. An extensive evaluation of the generated services has shown that these services conform to the principles of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and provide a straightforward methodology, which can reuse the valuable business logic that resides within legacy applications to migrate to SOA-based systems.展开更多
