Spatiotemporal variations of Chinese Loess Plateau vegetation cover during 1981-2006 have been investigated using GIMMS and SPOT VGT NDVI data and the cause of vegetation cover changes has been analyzed, considering the climate changes and human activities. Vegetation cover changes on the Loess Plateau have experienced four stages as follows: (1) vegetation cover showed a continued increasing phase during 1981―1989; (2) vegetation cover changes came into a relative steady phase with small fluctuations during 1990―1998; (3) vegetation cover declined rapidly during 1999―2001; and (4) vegetation cover increased rapidly during 2002―2006. The vegetation cover changes of the Loess Plateau show a notable spatial difference. The vegetation cover has obviously increased in the Inner Mongolia and Ningxia plain along the Yellow River and the ecological rehabilitated region of Ordos Plateau, however the vegetation cover evidently decreased in the hilly and gully areas of Loess Plateau, Liupan Mountains region and the northern hillside of Qinling Mountains. The response of NDVI to climate changes varied with different vegetation types. NDVI of sandy land vegetation, grassland and cultivated land show a significant increasing trend, but forest shows a decreasing trend. The results obtained in this study show that the spatiotemporal variations of vegetation cover are the outcome of climate changes and human activities. Temperature is a control factor of the seasonal change of vegetation growth. The increased temperature makes soil drier and unfavors vegetation growth in summer, but it favors vegetation growth in spring and autumn because of a longer growing period. There is a significant correlation between vegetation cover and precipitation and thus, the change in precipitation is an important factor for vegetation variation. The improved agricultural production has resulted in an increase of NDVI in the farmland, and the implementation of large-scale vegetation construction has led to some beneficial effect in ecology 展开更多

目的了解骨科患者术中压力性损伤发生情况,并分析其危险因素,为骨科术中压力性损伤的预防提供依据。方法选择骨科手术患者1 516例,记录患者术中压力性损伤发生情况,采用自设的骨科手术患者压力性损伤危险因素调查表收集资料。结果骨科... 目的了解骨科患者术中压力性损伤发生情况,并分析其危险因素,为骨科术中压力性损伤的预防提供依据。方法选择骨科手术患者1 516例,记录患者术中压力性损伤发生情况,采用自设的骨科手术患者压力性损伤危险因素调查表收集资料。结果骨科患者术中压力性损伤发生率为9.56%。Logistic回归分析显示,术前感知能力(OR=3.970)、术前活动能力(OR=2.315)、压力性损伤病史(OR=41.230)、手术时长(OR=62.846)、使用骨科医疗器具(OR=28.586)、手术体位(俯卧/牵引位/半坐卧位/半截石位)(OR=6.059)、术中体温降低(OR=5.973)、敲击(OR=2.128)、牵引(OR=1.777)是压力性损伤发生的危险因素。结论骨科患者术中压力性损伤涉及自身和手术多种危险因素,应通过全面的危险因素评估,及早采取预防措施,降低术中压力性损伤的发生。 展开更多

Naturally occurring plant compounds including tannins, saponins and essential oils are extensively assessed as natural alternatives to in-feed antibiotics.Tannins are a group of polyphenolic compounds that are widely present in plant region and possess various biological activities including antimicrobial,anti-parasitic, anti-viral, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulation, etc.Therefore, tannins are the major research subject in developing natural alternative to in-feed antibiotics.Strong protein affinity is the well-recognized property of plant tannins, which has successfully been applied to ruminant nutrition to decrease protein degradation in the rumen, and thereby improve protein utilization and animal production efficiency.Incorporations of tannin-containing forage in ruminant diets to control animal pasture bloat, intestinal parasite and pathogenic bacteria load are another 3 important applications of tannins in ruminant animals.Tannins have traditionally been regarded as "anti-nutritional factor" for monogastric animals and poultry, but recent researches have revealed some of them, when applied in appropriate manner, improved intestinal microbial ecosystem, enhanced gut health and hence increased productive performance.The applicability of plant tannins as an alternative to in-feed antibiotics depends on many factors that contribute to the great variability in their observed efficacies. 展开更多

In this review, we summarized the recent researches of Danshen in traditional uses and preparations, chemical constituents, pharmacological activities and side effects. A total of 201 compounds from Danshen have been reported, including lipophilic diterpenoids, water-soluble phenolic acids, and other constituents, which have showed various pharmacological activities, such as anti-inflammation, anti-oxidation, anti-tumor, anti-atherogenesis, and anti-diabetes. Soil health is important for the sustainable development of terrestrial ecosystem. In this paper, we studied the relationship between soil quality and soil microbial properties such as soil microbial biomass and soil enzyme activities in order to illustrate the function of soil microbial properties as bio-indicators of soil health. In this study, microbial biomass C and N contents (Cmic & Nmic), soil enzyme activities, and soil fertility with different fertilizer regimes were carried out based on a 15-year long-term fertilizer experiment in Drab Fluvo-aquic soil in Changping County, Beijing, China. At this site, 7 different treatments were established in 1991. They were in a wheat-maize rotation receiving either no fertilizer (CK), mineral fertilizers (NPK), mineral fertilizers with wheat straw incorporated (NPKW), mineral fertilizers with incremental wheat straw incorporated (NPKW+), mineral fertilizers plus swine manure (NPKM), mineral fertilizers plus incremental swine manure (NPKM+) or mineral fertilizers with maize straw incorporated (NPKS). In different fertilization treatments Cmic changed from 96.49 to 500.12 mg kg^-1, and Nmic changed from 35.89 to 101.82 mg kg^-1. Compared with CK, the other treatments increased Cmic & Nmic, Cmic/Corg (organic C) ratios, Cmic/Nmic, urease activity, soil organic matter (SOM), soil total nitrogen (STN), and soil total phosphorus (STP). All these properties in treatment with fertilizers input NPKM+ were the highest. Meantime, long-term combined application of mineral fertilizers with organic manure or crop straw could significantly decrease the soil pH in Fluvo-aquic soil (the pH around 8.00 in this experimental soil). Some of soil microbial properties (Cmic/Nmic, urease activity) were positively correlated with soil nutrients. Cmic/Nmic was significantly correlated with SOM and STN contents. In this paper, a close relationship between the intraseasonal variation of subtropical high over East Asia and the convective activities around the South China Sea and the Philippines is analysed from OLR data.This relationship is studied by using the theory of wave propagating in a slowly varying medium and by using a quasi-geoslrophic, linear, spherical model and the IAP-GCM, respectively. The results show that when the SST is warming around the western tropical Pacific or the Philippines, the convective activities are intensified around the Philippines. As a consequence, the subtropical high will be intensified over East Asia. The computed results also show that when the anomaly of convective activities are caused around the Philippines, a teleconnection pattern of circulation anomalies will be caused over South Asia, East Asia and North America. 展开更多

Based on an extensive literature review, we suggest that (1) climate warming occurs with great uncertainty in the magnitude of the temperature increase; (2) both human activities and natural forces contribute to climate change, but their relative contributions are difficult to quan- tify; and (3) the dominant role of the increase in the atmospheric concentration of greenhouse gases (including CO2) in the global warming claimed by the Intergovernrnental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is questioned by the scientific communities because of large uncertainties in the mechanisms of natural factors and anthropogenic activities and in the sources of the increased atmospheric CO2 concentration. 为从海量监控视频中快速、准确识别影响奶牛繁殖与健康的行为,以小育成牛舍与泌乳牛舍中400头奶牛为研究对象,分析了奶牛在活动区与奶厅匝道的运动行为,提出了一种基于图像熵的奶牛目标对象识别方法,通过最小包围盒面积计算与目标对象... 为从海量监控视频中快速、准确识别影响奶牛繁殖与健康的行为,以小育成牛舍与泌乳牛舍中400头奶牛为研究对象,分析了奶牛在活动区与奶厅匝道的运动行为,提出了一种基于图像熵的奶牛目标对象识别方法,通过最小包围盒面积计算与目标对象轮廓图,实时捕获奶牛爬跨行为与蹄部、背部特征,融合被识别奶牛连续7 d的运动量,判断影响奶牛健康繁殖的异常行为。试验结果表明,利用本文方法对监控视频内奶牛目标对象、运动行为进行实时监测,有效监控识别奶牛发情、蹄病行为准确率超过80%,发情漏检率最低为3.28%,蹄病漏检率最低为5.32%,提高了规模化养殖管理效率。 展开更多
