In this regard, their algoflora is also formed in its own way. As a result of research in this area, 217 species of algae were identified, belonging to 5 divisions, 11 classes, 37 orders, 57 families and 97 genera. The development and distribution of organisms in water is influenced by a number of external factors, such as: temperature, light, mineral and organic substances, active-reactive water environment, gas regime (oxygen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide), flow rate, change in water volume, degree transparency and wave formation.展开更多

Hippophae rhamnoides is a medicinal plant. This species is a naturally distributed plant. All parts of Hippophae rhamnoides are a source of biologically active substances, especially flavonoids, carotenoids, phytosterols and others. In the course of field studies, 10 monitoring sites were selected in the size of 10 × 10 m, and the productivity of one site in the amount of 10 × 10 averaged 51.33 ± 8.24 kg. According to the results obtained, it was revealed that the biological reserve averages 21.9 tons, respectively, the operational reserve is 13.14 tons and the volume of annual harvesting averages 1.31 tons. When the water level of the Zarafshan River rises, some plants are damaged.展开更多

It identifies plant species in and around the lake and analyzes species composition. As a result of the analysis, 70 species of tall plants belonging to 24 families were identified in the lake. The identified species are divided into aquatic and riparian plants. Of these, 18 species are found in lake water and 52 species in its vicinity. The low number of high plant species in the lake water is due to the salinity of the water. The protection of this area is based on the natural conservation of the surrounding plant population.展开更多

As the main water resource, the Zarafshan river water is mainly used by the republics ofTajikistanandUzbekistan. We explored the trends of space-time pollution of river water with ammonium, nitrates, phosphates, biological oxygen demand (ВОD), fluorine and some heavy metals at seven water sampling points along theZarafshanRiver inUzbekistan. The experimental data showed that the water quality of the Zarafshanriver in 2002-2009 has undergone a considerable transformation, even by the length of the river. The chemical composition of the Zarafshan river water underwent changes due to the agricultural collector-drainage discharges and the sewage of the cities of Samarkand and Navoi. The water pollutants of the Zarafshan river, as a con- sequence of the agricultural pollution, consisted of mineralization, ammonium, nitrate, phosphate, and pesticides. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the chemical composition of the large agricultural collector-drainage discharges into the river. The main sources of the heavy metals (primarily arsenic and zinc) in the Zarafshan river water were probably ore processing manufactures located interritoryofTajikistan.展开更多
