This paper presents a development o f the extended Cellular Automata9CA),based on relational databases(RDB),to model dynamic interactions amon g spatial objects.The integration o f Geographical Information System(GIS)...This paper presents a development o f the extended Cellular Automata9CA),based on relational databases(RDB),to model dynamic interactions amon g spatial objects.The integration o f Geographical Information System(GIS)and CA has the great advantage of simu lationg geographical processes.But standard CA has some restrictions i n cellular shape and neighbourhood and neighbour rules,which restrict the CA’ s ability to simulate complex,real world environ-ments.This paper discusses a cell’ s spatialrelationbasedonthe spatialobject’ s geometricalandmon -geometricalc haracter-istics,and extends the cell’ s neighbour definition,and considers that the cell’ s neighbour lies in the forms of not on ly spa-tial adjacency but also attribute co rrelation.This paper then puts forw ard that spatial relations between t wo different cells can be divided into three types,including spatial adjacency,neighbour hood and complicated separation.Ba sed on tradition-al ideas,it is impossible to settle CA’ s restrictions completely.RDB -based CA is an academic experiment,in which some fields ard desighed to describe the essential information needed to define and select a cell’ s neighbour.The culture innovation diffusion system has mul tiple forms of space diffusion and in herited characteristics that the RD B -based CA is capable of simulating more effectiv ely.Finally this paper details a successful case study on the diffusion o f fashion wear trends.Compared to the original CA,the RDB -based CA is a more natural and efficient representation of human k nowl-edge over space,and is an effective t ol in simulation complex systems that have multiple forms of spatial diff usion.展开更多

A floor heating system is a traditionary famous in Asian countries, especially in North East of China and Korea. In this report, we intended to clarify the effect of floor hating system for accessing a peripheral leuk...A floor heating system is a traditionary famous in Asian countries, especially in North East of China and Korea. In this report, we intended to clarify the effect of floor hating system for accessing a peripheral leukocyte regulation in winter season by evidence-based manner more than VAS. We set up two different office rooms heat-controlled by floor heating and air-conditioned by ceiling electric heater. Both qualitative and quantitative approaches determine which are better therapeutic effective recipes for this trial. The elements were evaluated by the total number of peripheral leukocyte, granulocyte and lymphocyte ratio and lymphocyte subsets. For 5 days of working in each conditioned room, the volunteers were changed the room after one-week interval for cooling down. Floor heating system regulated total number of peripheral leukocyte. The mode of the action for the high number of the volunteer was down-regulated. On the contrary, in lower numbers it was up-regulated after the trial. The number of leukocyte subsets, granulocyte and lymphocyte were also regulated by dose dependent manner. Emotional hormone, adrenalin, cortisone and nor-adrenaline were down regulated by floor heating but dopamine was up-regulated by this heating system. The reversal results were obtained by the group who worked in the conditioned room by the system heating from ceiling.展开更多
The current temperature field model of mine gob does not take the boundary conditions of the atmospheric pressure into account, while the actual atmospheric pressure is influenced by weather, so as to produce differen...The current temperature field model of mine gob does not take the boundary conditions of the atmospheric pressure into account, while the actual atmospheric pressure is influenced by weather, so as to produce differences between ventilation negative pressure of the working face and the negative pressure of gas drainage in gob, thus interfering the calculated results of gob temperature field. According to the characteristics of the actual air flow and temperature change in gob, a two-dimensional temperature field model of the gob was built, and the relational model between the air pressure of intake and outlet of the gob and the atmospheric pressure was established, which was introduced into the boundary conditions of temperature field to conduct calculation. By means of analysis on the simulation example, and comparison with the traditional model, the results indicate that atmospheric pressure change had notable impact on the distribution of gob temperature field. The laboratory test system of gob temperature field was constructed, and the relative error between simulated and measured value was no greater than 9.6%, which verified the effectiveness of the proposed model. This work offers theoretical basis for accurate calculation of temperature and prediction of ignition source in mine gob, and has important implications on preventing spontaneous combustion of coal.展开更多

The li near errors and high order errors of a sensor (especially piezoresistive sensor) can be corrected by using this system. It can optimize the process of piezoresi stive sensor calibration and compensation, then, a total error factor within 0.2 % of the sensor′s repeatability errors is obtained. Data are recorded and coeff icients are determined automatically by this system, thus, the sensor compensati on is simplified greatly. For operating easily, a wizard compensation program is designed to correct every error and to get the optimum compensation.展开更多
