First, periodic orbits in the vicinity of the primary are calculated, including the orbits around the equilibrium points and large-scale orbits. The Floquet multipliers’ topological cases of periodic orbits are calculated to study the orbits’ stabilities. During the continuation of the retrograde near-circular orbits near the equatorial plane, two period-doubling bifurcations and one Neimark–Sacker bifurcation occur one by one, leading to two stable regions and two unstable regions. Bifurcations occur at the boundaries of these regions. Periodic orbits in the stable regions are all stable, but in the unstable regions are all unstable. Moreover, many quasi-periodic orbits exist near the equatorial plane. Long-term integration indicates that a particle in a quasi-periodic orbit runs in a space like a tire. Quasi-periodic orbits in different regions have different styles of motion indicated by the Poincare sections. There is the possibility that moonlet Dactyl is in a quasi-periodic orbit near the stable region I, which is enlightening for the stability of the binary system.展开更多

It is proved that for each given 0 【 σ 【 1, and each given integer b 】 1, the above equation admits a Whitney smooth family of small-amplitude quasi-periodic solutions with b-dimensional Diophantine frequencies, corresponding to b-dimensional invariant tori of an associated infinite-dimensional Hamiltonian system. Moreover, these b-dimensional Diophantine frequencies are the small dilation of a prescribed Diophantine vector. Assume that PM is per...To investigate the effects of various random factors on the preventive maintenance (PM) decision-making of one type of two-unit series system, an optimal quasi-periodic PM policy is introduced. Assume that PM is perfect for unit 1 and only mechanical service for unit 2 in the model. PM activity is randomly performed according to a dynamic PM plan distributed in each implementation period. A replacement is determined based on the competing results of unplanned and planned replacements. The unplanned replacement is trigged by a catastrophic failure of unit 2, and the planned replacement is executed when the PM number reaches the threshold N. Through modeling and analysis, a solution algorithm for an optimal implementation period and the PM number is given, and optimal process and parametric sensitivity are provided by a numerical example. Results show that the implementation period should be decreased as soon as possible under the condition of meeting the needs of practice, which can increase mean operating time and decrease the long-run cost rate.展开更多

We first applied a special case of Lyapunov-Perron (L-P) transformation for time periodic system known as the Lyapunov-Floquet (L-F) transformation to generate a dynamically equivalent system. Then, we used the quasi-periodicnear-identity transformation to reduce this dynamically equivalent system to a constant coefficient system by solving homological equations via harmonic balance. In this process, we obtained the reducibility/resonance conditions that needed to be satisfied to convert a quasi-periodic system in to a constant one. Assuming the reducibility is possible, we obtain the L-P transformation that can transform original quasi-periodic system into a system with constant coefficients. Two examples are presented that show the application of this approach.展开更多
稳态响应如周期及准周期解的分岔计算,是非线性动力学研究的难点问题之一.与计算方法及分析理论相对完善的周期响应相比,准周期响应的求解只是在近些年才得到较大进展,而且其分岔分析更加棘手,仍需要更有效的理论和方法.目前,稳态响应...稳态响应如周期及准周期解的分岔计算,是非线性动力学研究的难点问题之一.与计算方法及分析理论相对完善的周期响应相比,准周期响应的求解只是在近些年才得到较大进展,而且其分岔分析更加棘手,仍需要更有效的理论和方法.目前,稳态响应尤其是准周期响应的分岔计算,一般需采用数值方法,通过调节参数反复试算得到.为此,本文基于增量谐波平衡IHB法提出一种快速方法,可以高效地确定准周期响应的对称破缺分岔点.方法的理论基础是在准周期解的广义谐波级数表达基础上,当响应发生对称破缺分岔时,其偶次(含零次)谐波系数将逐渐由0变为小量.基于此性质,将零次谐波系数预先设定为小量,同时将分岔控制参数视为可变的迭代变量,进而通过IHB法构造迭代格式.作为算例,研究不可约频率作用下的双频激励Duffing系统以及Duffing-van der Pol耦合系统.结果表明,只要迭代格式收敛,随着预设小量减小,控制参数将逐渐接近分岔近似值;同时,通过提高谐波截断数可显著提高近似分岔值的计算精度.所提方法无需反复试算,只要迭代过程收敛、便可实现分岔点直接快速计算.展开更多

Maintenance optimization of periodic replacement for mono-unit production system is a widely discussed topic.In practice,the replacement for a parallel production system with multi-unit served by one repairman is univ...Maintenance optimization of periodic replacement for mono-unit production system is a widely discussed topic.In practice,the replacement for a parallel production system with multi-unit served by one repairman is universal.The replacement action is often implemented in a maintenance window at random,although the replacement period appears as a quasi-periodic event.To optimize these maintenance policies,this study analyzes a bivariate quasi-periodic replacement policy (T,W) for a two-unit parallel production system with a maintenance window and one repairman.One unit of the system is replaced when either a failure occurs or a replacement plan comes in the maintenance window,whichever comes first.If one of the two units is in the replacement,the other may continue operating or waiting until the replacement is completed.An optimal replacement window [T*,T* + W*] can be obtained by jointly considering the system's long-running cost rate and the availability using the genetic algorithm.This study also introduces three examples of the production system with different types of units to illustrate the proposed policy.展开更多
