目的探讨围术期异体红细胞输注对胃癌患者细胞免疫的影响。方法回顾性分析2012年6月-2013年6月手术治疗的39名胃癌患者围术期异体红细胞输注情况及其T细胞亚群检测结果,并根据异体红细胞输注情况分为输血组18名(Hb<100 g/L、输血量2-...目的探讨围术期异体红细胞输注对胃癌患者细胞免疫的影响。方法回顾性分析2012年6月-2013年6月手术治疗的39名胃癌患者围术期异体红细胞输注情况及其T细胞亚群检测结果,并根据异体红细胞输注情况分为输血组18名(Hb<100 g/L、输血量2-6 U)、未输血组21名(Hb>100g/L)。结果术前2组患者一般情况及外周血CD3+、CD4+、CD8+细胞比例和CD4+细胞/CD8+细胞比值具有可比性(P>0.05)。术后d5,2组患者的外周血CD3+、CD4+细胞比例和CD4/CD8比值均较术前明显降低(P<0.05),仅CD8+细胞比例差异不明显(P>0.05);输血组与未输血组患者外周血CD3+细胞比例(%)为53.32±2.61 vs 62.10±2.47、CD4+细胞比例(%)为27.91±1.58 vs 37.91±1.60、CD4+/CD8+细胞比值为1.41±0.15 vs 1.81±0.17(均为P<0.05)。输血组中,异体红细胞输注量≥4 U与<4 U的患者术后d5外周血CD3+细胞比例(%)为47.16±3.55 vs 59.67±2.52、CD4+细胞比例(%)为24.99±2.60 vs 33.85±2.43、CD4+/CD8+比值为1.20±0.18 vs 2.26±0.24(均为P<0.05);输血组中异体红细胞输注量<4 U的患者与未输血组患者的外周血CD3+、CD4+、CD8+细胞比例和CD4+/CD8比值均无明显差异(P>0.05)。结论围术期异体红细胞输注量可以影响胃癌手术患者细胞免疫功能。展开更多
It is of vital importance to improve the long-term and photostability of organic photovoltaics,including organic solar cells(OSCs)and organic photodetectors(OPDs),for their ultimate industrialization.Herein,two series...It is of vital importance to improve the long-term and photostability of organic photovoltaics,including organic solar cells(OSCs)and organic photodetectors(OPDs),for their ultimate industrialization.Herein,two series of terpolymers featuring with an antioxidant butylated hydroxytoluene(BHT)-terminated side chain,PTzBI-EHp-BTBHTx and N2200-BTBHTx(x=0.05,0.1,0.2),are designed and synthesized.It was found that incorporating appropriate ratio of benzothiadiazole(BT)with BHT side chains on the conjugated backbone would induce negligible effect on the molecular weight,absorption spectra and energy levels of polymers,however,which would obviously enhance the photostability of these polymers.Consequently,all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs)and photodetectors were fabricated,and the all-PSC based on PTzBI-EHp-BTBHT0.05:N2200 realized an optimal power conversion efficiency(PCE)approaching~10%,outperforming the device based on pristine PTzBI-EHp:N2200.Impressively,the all-PSCs based on BHT-featuring terpolymers displayed alleviated PCEs degradation under continuous irradiation for 300 h due to the improved morphological and photostability of active layers.The OPDs based on BHT-featuring terpolymers achieved a lower dark current at−0.1 bias,which could be stabilized even after irradiation over 400 h.This study provides a feasible approach to develop terpolymers with antioxidant efficacy for improving the lifetime of OSCs and OPDs.展开更多
Spinal cord injury(SCI)can permanently impair motor and sensory function and has a devastating cost to patients and the United States healthcare system.Stem cell transplantation for treatment of SCI is a new technique...Spinal cord injury(SCI)can permanently impair motor and sensory function and has a devastating cost to patients and the United States healthcare system.Stem cell transplantation for treatment of SCI is a new technique aimed at creating biological functional recovery.Operative techniques in stem cell transplantation for SCI are varied.We review various clinical treatment paradigms,surgical techniques and technical considerations important in SCI treatment.The NCBI PubMed database was queried for“SCI”and“stem cell”with a filter placed for“clinical trials”.Thirty-nine articles resulted from the search and 29 were included and evaluated by study authors.A total of 10 articles were excluded(9 not SCI focused or transplantation focused,1 canine model).Key considerations for stem cell transplantation include method of delivery(intravenous,intrathecal,intramedullary,or excision and engraftment),time course of treatment,number of treatments and time from injury until treatment.There are no phase III clinical trials yet,but decreased time from injury to treatment and a greater number of stem cell injections both seem to increase the chance of functional recovery.展开更多

An oil and gas pipeline monitoring platform uses internet of things(IoT)to ensure safe operation in remote and unattended areas,through automatic monitoring and systematic control on equipment such as the cut-off valv...An oil and gas pipeline monitoring platform uses internet of things(IoT)to ensure safe operation in remote and unattended areas,through automatic monitoring and systematic control on equipment such as the cut-off valves and cathodic protection systems.The continuity and stability of power supplies for various equipment of an oil and gas pipeline IoT monitoring platform is crucial.There is no single universal off-grid power supply method that is optimal for an oil and gas pipeline IoT monitoring platform in all different contexts.Therefore,it is necessary to select a suitable one according to the specific geographical location and meteorological conditions.This paper proposes an off-grid power supply system comprised of a reversible solid oxide fuel cell(RESOC),photovoltaic(PV)and battery.Minimum operating costs and the reliability of system operations under constraint conditions are the key determining objectives.A“PV+battery+RESOC”system operational optimization model is established.Based on the model,three types of off-grid power supply schemes are proposed,and three geographical locations with different meteorological conditions are selected as practical application scenarios.The Matlab Cplex solver is used to solve the different power supply modes of the three regions.And finally,the power supply scheme with the best reliability and economy under different geographical environments and meteorological conditions is obtained.展开更多

Accumulating evidences have demonstrated that intracellular Ca^(2+)homeostasis is altered in cancer cells and the alteration is involved in tumor initiation, angiogenesis,progression and metastasis. Targeting derailed Ca^(2+)signaling for cancer therapy has become an emerging research area. This review summarizes some important Ca^(2+)channels, transporters and Ca^(2+)-ATPases,which have been reported to be altered in human cancer patients. It discusses the current research effort toward evaluation of the blockers, inhibitors or regulators for Ca^(2+)channels/transporters or Ca^(2+)-ATPase pumps as anti-cancer drugs. This review is also aimed to stimulate interest in, and support for researchinto the understanding of cellular mechanisms underlying the regulation of Ca^(2+)signaling in different cancer cells, and to search for novel therapies to cure these malignancies by targeting Ca^(2+)channels or transporters.展开更多
