目的 探讨新疆地区不同类型结石在肾脏结石患者中所占比例,分析结石成分与尿液理化性质和蛋白构成之间的关系.方法 病例对照研究.纳入2014年3月至2016年11月期间在新疆维吾尔自治区人民医院住院治疗的355例肾脏结石患者,以及同期非泌尿... 目的 探讨新疆地区不同类型结石在肾脏结石患者中所占比例,分析结石成分与尿液理化性质和蛋白构成之间的关系.方法 病例对照研究.纳入2014年3月至2016年11月期间在新疆维吾尔自治区人民医院住院治疗的355例肾脏结石患者,以及同期非泌尿系统疾病住院并且排除其他疾病或并发症导致的肾损害患者30例为对照组.对结石成分进行分析,根据结石主要成分划分为草酸盐组、碳酸磷组、尿酸组和磷酸盐组,并对患者24 h尿液部分理化性质和蛋白构成,采用离子选择电极法、速率法、酶法和免疫比浊法进行检测分析.两样本间均数差异性分析采用t检验,多样本间两两比较采用F检验和LSD-t检验,构成比的差异比较采用卡方检验.结果 355例结石样本中,以222例混合性结石为主,占62.5%,其中又以草酸盐结石为主169例,占76.1%;单纯性结石133例,占37.5%,其中又以草酸盐结石为主75例,占56.4%.与对照组(30例)比较,草酸盐组(244例)尿液pH(5.33±0.32)明显降低,24 h尿钙和24 h尿尿酸[(7.68±0.35)mmol、(3.48±0.23)mmol]水平明显升高,24 h尿镁(3.02±0.29)mmol明显降低(t值均〉5.874,P〈0.05);磷酸盐组(23例)尿液pH(6.98±0.77)升高,24 h尿磷(10.55±0.63)mmol水平降低,24 h尿钙(7.96±0.57 )mmol水平升高(t值均〉9.436,P〈0.05),伴有高尿钙症的结石患者23例,占到69.6%;尿酸组(61例)尿液pH水平低至(4.97±0.48),且49例患者伴有尿液过度酸化,占80.3%,24 h尿尿酸含量(4.14±0.37 )mmol明显升高(t=11.459,P〈0.05),伴有高尿酸尿症的患者31例占50.8%;碳酸磷组(23例)尿液pH(6.86±0.68)升高(t=6.876,P〈0.05);此外,草酸盐组尿半胱氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂C(0.653±0.148)mg/L、尿α1微球蛋白(1.53±0.56)mg/dl和尿β2微球蛋白(0.585±0.088)mg/L水平明显升高(t值均〉8.442,P〈0.05).结论 肾脏结石成分和相应尿液代谢变化之 展开更多

Effect of Pre-Gelatinization Conditions on the Total Oxalate Content and Techno-Functional Properties of Taro (Colocasia esculenta) Flour

Like most roots and tubers, taro (Colocasia esculenta) corms have a short shelf-life due to the high moisture content, which aggravates their post-harvest losses. They also contain high amounts of calcium oxalates, limiting their use in food applications. To help add value and diversify the use of taro corms as well as curb food losses, various strategies have been proposed, such processing of the corms into flour. This study aimed at evaluating the total oxalate content and techno-functional properties of taro flour as affected by the pre-gelatinization conditions (i.e., method and time). Pre-gelatinized taro flour was prepared by subjecting peeled and cleaned taro corms to roasting (190°C), boiling (100°C), and steaming (100°C) for 10 min, 20 min and 30 min, respectively, for each method, followed by drying at 55°C and milling. Generally, all the properties of flour were significantly affected by the pre-gelatinization conditions (P 0.05). The total oxalate content of the pre-gelatinized taro flour ranged from 33.26 to 76.90 mg/100g. Pre-gelatinization by boiling significantly reduced the oxalate content (56.7%), while roasting resulted in the least reduction (36.2%). The flour colour i.e. L<sup>*</sup>, hue, and chroma ranged from 38.47° - 70.30°, 42.64° - 69.43°, and 7.78° - 10.58°, respectively. Roasting resulted in flour with the largest L<sup>*</sup> (70.30°) and hue angle (69.43°). Boiling also resulted in flour with the highest bulk density (BD) (0.86 g/cm<sup>3</sup>) and the lowest water solubility index (WSI) (9.39%). Steamed flour had the highest water absorption index (WAI) (3.81 g/g), water holding capacity (WHC) (4.59 g/g), and swelling capacity (SC) (4.86 g/g). This study shows that pre-gelatinization (i.e. by boiling, steaming or roasting) significantly affects the total oxalate content and techno-functional properties of taro flour, which in turn influences its use in other food applications thus increasing the utilization and production of taro simultaneously. 展开更多

The Fourier transform far infrared spectra of oxalate hydrates of whole rare-earth series except Pm and Sc are investigated in the range of 100-400 cm^(-1). The assignment of vibrational frequencies is made on the basis of normal coordinate analysis using our NORVIB program. The model used for the hghter elements of the lanthanide series (La to Eu) is based on the crystal structure of Nd_2(C_2O_4)_3. 10H_2O, in which each lanthanide ion is surrounded by nine O atoms, six from three oxalate ions and three from Water molecules.The model adopted for the heavier elements of the lanthanide series (Gd to Lu) and Ytterbium is based on the crystal structure of Yb_2(C_2O_4)_3· 6H_2O, in which each ion is surrounded by eight atoms, six from three oxalate ions and two from water molecules. The variation of the metal-ligand frequencies and force constants with the atomic numbers of lanthanides is plotted and discussed. 展开更多

Manufacture of a Low Oxalate Mitsumame-Type Dessert Using Rhubarb Juice and Calcium Salts

Rhubarb (Rheum rhabarbarum) juice was used to make a Japanese soft mitsumame-type dessert sweet. The dessert was prepared from extracted rhubarb juice, which was cooked with sugar, agar and guar gum, then allowed to set in sweet moulds. The total, soluble and insoluble oxalates were determined in the ingredients and the final products using HPLC chromatography. To reduce the soluble oxalate content of the dessert while retaining the colour and taste of the final product, increments of CaCl2 and CaCO3 were added to the test dessert mixes. The addition of CaCl2 reduced the pH from 3.55 ± 0.03 to pH 3.09 ± 0.02 while addition of CaCO3 increased the pH from 3.55 ± 0.03 to 4.96 ± 0.01. In both cases, the incremental addition of calcium reduced the soluble oxalate content of the sweets by converting it to insoluble oxalate. 展开更多

Oxalate Content of Miner’s Lettuce Irrigated with Water or Fertilizer Solutions

Overall, all plant parts of miner’s lettuce analyzed contained high levels of total and soluble oxalates;however plants irrigated with fertilizer contained lower levels of oxalates compared with plants irrigated with water. On a dry matter basis, the small leaves contained higher levels of total oxalate when compared to the total oxalate in the large leaves. Soluble oxalate in the leaves of plants irrigated with water ranged from 2.6 to 7.5 mg/100g dry matter (DM) and was significantly higher (P < 0.05) than the leaves of the fertilizer-watered plants, which ranged from 1.8 to 2.8 mg/100g DM. The soluble oxalate in the small and large stems of the fertilizer-watered plants ranged from 1.20 to 1.5 mg/100g DM and was significantly lower (P < 0.05) than the water-treated small and large stems, which ranged from 3.75 to 4.4 mg/100g DM. It is recommended that the leaves of miner’s lettuce should be consumed in moderation. 展开更多

The total, soluble and insoluble oxalate contents of the leaves and stems of curly leaf (Petroselinum crispum) and flat leaf (P. crispum var. neapolitanum) parsley cultivars were extracted from fresh tissue and measured using HPLC chromatography. There were no significant differences between the total and insoluble oxalate contents of the leaves between the flat leaf and curly leaf cultivars. There was a small difference (P < 0.05) between the soluble oxalate contents of the leaves of the two cultivars. The mean total, soluble and insoluble oxalates of the leaves of the two cultivars were 1137.0, 177.9 and 959.3 mg/100 g dry matter (DM), respectively. The mean total, soluble and insoluble oxalate contents of the stems were 1680.7, 386.2 and 1294.5 mg/100 g DM, respectively, and these were significantly higher than the mean values for the leaves of the two cultivars. Insoluble oxalate made up a mean of 77.0% of the curly leaf stems and leaves compared to a mean of 84.4% found in the flat-leaved cultivar. Unavailable calcium, that is, calcium bound to oxalate as insoluble oxalate, made up a mean of 26.9% of the total calcium in the leaves of both cultivars while the unavailable calcium made up 45.0% of the total calcium in the stems of the two cultivars. Overall, the oxalate contents of both parsley cultivars are relatively high, on a dry matter basis, but their overall contribution to dietary intake is likely to be quite small as parsley is an herb that is only used in small amounts to garnish foods. 展开更多

Investigation of Oxalate Levels in Sorrel Plant Parts and Sorrel-Based Products

The larger, more mature leaves of both cultivars contained higher levels of total, soluble and insoluble oxalates. The stems also contained appreciable levels of oxalates. The mean soluble oxalate content of the variegated leaves was 14.7%, which was significantly higher than found in the leaves of the green-leaved cultivar (11.9%). The proportion of soluble oxalate to total oxalate in the stems ranged from 12.7% to 24.4% for both cultivars. Sorrel sprouts contained a much higher proportion of soluble oxalates than the green sorrel leaves but were similar in oxalate content to the variegated leaves. Pesto and soup made from sorrel leaves retained their characteristic sour taste despite containing much lower levels of oxalates. The levels of oxalates in sorrel leaves were high and it was recommended that the leaves should be consumed occasionally as a delicacy because of their unique taste rather than as a significant part of the diet. However, the products made from sorrel leaves were less of a problem as they contained lower levels of oxalates. 展开更多

Stems of sweet taro (Colocasia esculenta) grown in Thua Thien Hu&#7871;Province in Vietnam and were used as an ingredient to prepare two local dishes, C&#417;m H&#7871;n and Canh Chua B&#7841;c Hà. This study investigated the effect of simple processing treatments used to prepare these popular dishes on the total, soluble and insoluble oxalate and calcium contents of the taro stems. Raw stems were used to prepare C&#417;m H&#7871;n. Three treatments, removing the skin then washing and slicing, slicing and washing, or slicing and then allowing the stems to wilt overnight were compared to the whole raw stems with the skin retained. Overall, processing the stems reduced the soluble oxalate contents by a mean of 8% when compared with the original raw stems. The mean total calcium bound in the insoluble oxalate fraction of the three processing treatments was 43.3% ± 2.0%. Canh Chua B&#7841;c Hà was prepared by boiling peeled taro stems. In this experiment the peeled stems were boiled for 10, 15 and 20 min and this resulted in 63.4%, 74.5% and 76.6% reductions in soluble oxalate content, respectively, when compared to the original peeled stems. Boiling for 20 min was the most effective way to reduce both the total and soluble oxalate contents of the stems. 39% of the total calcium in the raw taro stems was bound to the insoluble oxalate fraction and this was reduced to a mean of 17.2% ± 2.6% by the three cooking treatments. 展开更多

Birefringent materials with large optical anisotropy,which can be used to modulate the polarization of light,play a key role in laser techniques and science.However,the exploration studies of new,superior birefringent materials develop extremely slowly due to the lack of effective guidelines for rational design.Herein,three antimony(Ⅲ)fluoride oxalates,namely,Na_(2)Sb_(2)(C_(2)O_(4))F_(6),K_(2)Sb_(2)(C_(2)O_(4))F_(6),and Cs_(2)Sb_(2)-(C_(2)O_(4))_(2)F_(4)·H_(2)O,were successfully synthesized through a rational combination ofπ-conjugated C_(2)O_(4)^(2-)anions and Sb^(3+)cations with stereochemically active lone pairs.These oxalates feature unique quasi-one-dimensional chain structures that induce large optical anisotropy.Remarkably,Cs_(2)Sb_(2)(C_(2)O_(4))_(2)-F_(4)·H_(2)O exhibits the largest birefringence(0.325@546 nm)among all reported antimony(Ⅲ)-based oxysalts.Detailed structural analysis and theoretical calculations confirmed that the optical anisotropy of these oxalates could be tuned through the synergetic interactions of templated cations and anionic functional groups.This work may open the door to efficiently designing excellent birefringent materials and guide the further discovery of other novel structure-driven functional materials. 展开更多
