A novel europium(Ⅲ) coordination polymer, [Eu3(pydc)3(SO4)(H2O)5(ox)0.5]·3H2O(1, H2ox = oxalic acid, H2 pydc = pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid), has been synthesized hydrothermally from the self-assembly of lanthanide ions(Eu3+) with the flexible oxalic acid and the rigid pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid ligands, respectively. It crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 11.225(4), b = 12.390(5), c = 13.752(5)A, α = 89.228(7), β = 71.142(6), γ = 75.552(6)°, Dc = 2.317 g/cm^3, μ = 5.480 mm^-1, F(000) = 1150, Z = 2, the final R = 0.0351 and w R = 0.0949 for 8782 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). Structural analysis reveals that complex 1 exhibits a three-dimensional metal-organic framework via π-π stacking interactions. In addition, complex 1 displays a red fluorescence emission in the solid state at room temperature, which corresponds to the 5D0 → 7F2 transition of Eu3+ ions. 展开更多

A new one-dimensional Mg(Ⅱ) coordination polymer, [Mg(L)(phen)(H2O)](1), has been hydrothermally synthesized by using 3,5-dinitro-salicylic acid(H2L) and 1,10-phenanthroline(phen). It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 33.038(7), b = 6.6481(13), c = 22.750(5) A, β = 126.99(3)°, V = 3991.1(14) A3, Z = 8, C19H12 MgN4O8, Mr = 448.64, Dc = 1.493 g/cm3, F(000) = 1840, μ(Mo Ka) = 0.146 mm-1, R = 0.0559 and w R = 0.0975. In 1, each L anion bridges two Mg(Ⅱ) atoms to give one-dimensional zigzag chains with the Mg…Mg separation of 5.34 ?, which are extended by π-π stacking interactions between 1,10-phenanthroline ligands into a two-dimensional supramolecular layer. Moreover, the O–H…O hydrogen-bonding interactions further stabilize the layer structure of 1. The luminescent property was also studied for 1 in solid state at room temperature. In addition, natural bond orbital(NBO) analysis was performed by the B3LYP/LANL2 DZ method in Gaussian 09 Program. The complex is extended into a three-dimensional network structure with 24-atom rings which are composed of Tb, C and O atoms. Crystallographic data for 1: triclinic, space group P1 with a = 9.750(5), b = 10.148(5), c = 12.869(5) ?, α = 104.904(5), β = 102.133(5), γ = 95.219(5)°, V = 1188.7(10) ?~3, Z = 2, C_(28)H_(17)FN_4O_5Cu, Mr = 572.01, D_c = 1.598 g/cm^3, F(000) = 582, μ(MoKa) = 0.977 mm^(-1), R = 0.0474 and w R = 0.1144. The TGA behaviors and luminescence of 1 have been studied in detail. The L1 dianions link neighboring Cu(Ⅱ) atoms in a bis-chelating mode, yielding a one-dimensional chain structure along the b axis. The L2 ligands are attached on one side of the chain through chelating the Cu(Ⅱ) atoms, and are stacked with those of an adjacent chain through π-π interactions, yielding a layer structure. Through-space charge transfer(TSCT)polymers are an attractive class of luminescent polymers with spatial donor/acceptor architecture and thermally activated delayed fluorescence effect,different from conventional luminescent polymers with conjugated donor-acceptor structure and through-bond charge transfer emission.Their emission comes from the intramolecular charge transfer by through-space pathway because the donor and acceptor segments are spatially proximate to each other in each repeating unit but are physically separated by nonconjugated polymer backbone.In this review,recent advances in TSCT polymers with linear,bottlebrush,and dendritic architectures are presented,with the focus on their molecular design,photophysical behavior,and device performance.We hope that this review shall provide a useful insight of new luminescent polymers with TSCT effect for use in solution-processed organic light-emitting diodes. 展开更多

A pioneering glass-compatible transparent temperature alarm system self-powered by luminescent solar concentrators(LSCs) is reported.Single green-emitted organic manganese halides(OMHs) of PEA_(2)MnBr_(2)I_(2),which has a unique temperature-dependent backward energy transfer process from selftrapped state to^(4)T_(1)energy level of Mn,is used for triggering the temperature alarm.The LSC with redemitted CsPbI_(3)perovskite-polymer composite films on the glass substrate is used for power supply.The spectrally separated nature between the green-emitted OMHs for temperature alarm and red-emitted CsPbI3in LSC for power supply allows for probing the signal light of temperature-responsive OMHs without the interference of LSCs,making it possible to calibrate the temperature visually just by a self-powered brightness detection circuit with LED indicators.Taking advantage of LSC without hot spot effects plaguing the solar cells,as-prepared temperature alarm system can operate well on both sunny and cloudy day. 展开更多

Single-crystal X-ray d... Two coordination polymers, namely [Pb(Hbtc)(phen)]n(1) and {[Cd3(btc)2(H2O)4]·2H2O}n(2, H3btc = biphenyl-2,5,3'-tricarboxylic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), were assembled. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies show that compound 1 possesses a zigzag chain 1D coordination network, which is further extended into a 3D supramolecular architecture via O–H···O hydrogen bonds and π-π packing interactions. Compound 2 features a 3D open framework based on a tricadmium(II) subunit, generating a trinodal 4,4,6-connected net with the 4,4,6T24 topology defined by the point symbol of(44·62)3(46·69)2. Thermal stability and luminescent properties of both compounds were studied and discussed. 展开更多

A novel coordination polymer, namely [Zn2(CAPA)(DMA)(H2O)]2n·n(H2O)(1,H4CAPA = 5-(bis(4-carboxybenzyl) amino) isophthalic acid, DMA = N,N-dimethylacetamide) has been synthesized through a solvothermal method and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, infrared spectra, and thermogravimetric analyses. The crystal structure is of monoclinic, space group P21/n with a = 8.0585(5), b = 18.9733(10), c = 20.2044(14) A^°3, β = 101.144(7)°, V = 3030.9(3) ?~3, C56H54Zn4N4O21, Mr = 1378.58, Z = 2). The compound forms a three-dimensional(3D) supramolecular framework by linking adjacent layers via hydrogen bonds and π···π interactions. It is interesting that the crystal structure is much related to the flexibility and configuration of the ligand. In addition, the thermal stability and luminescence properties for the compound have also been investigated. 展开更多

The crystal structure is of monoclinic, space group P21/n with a = 9.6435(3), b = 19.8515(7), c = 12.9731(5) A, β = 103.023(4)o, V = 2419.67(15) A3, C52H38Zn2N4O21, Mr = 1185.6, Z = 2, Dc = 1.619 g/cm^3, F(000) = 1200, μ = 1.083 mm-1, the final R = 0.0443 and w R = 0.1079 for 4269 observed reflections(I 2σ(I). The compound features a two-dimensional(2D) framework and stabilizes itself by interlayer π···π interactions and innerlayer hydrogen bonds. The 2D layer presents a simple 3-connected 63 topology. Rare earth organic complexes were introduced into the polymerization system, and the polymeric colloidal nanospheres containing rare earth complexes were prepared by emulsion copolymerization. The characterization results indicated that the polymeric spheres were small at nanometer size and the diameter was monodisperse, particularly the nanospheres possessed good fluorescent properties. Moreover, the polymeric nanospheres were self-assembled to fabricate the colloidal crystals, which were three-dimensional regular multilayer films. The polymeric colloidal crystal films exhibited excellent luminescent and novel optical properties. 展开更多

Two novel 2D coordination polymers, [Co(BPDC)DMSO]·DMSO(1)(BPDC=2,2'-bipyridyl-4,4'-dicar- boxylic acid) and [Zn(BPDC)DMF]·DMF(2), were synthesized from 2,2'-bipyridyl-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid ligand (H2BPDC) under solvothermal conditions. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that compound 1 crystal- lizes in orthorhombic system and Pca21 space group with a=1.29628(13) nm, b=1.13721(13) nm, c=1.66457(19) nm, α=90°, β=90°, γ=90°, V=2.4538(5) nm3. Compound 2 crystallizes in monoclinic system and P21/c space group with a=0.9429(6) nm, b=1.4757(10) nm, c=1.5980(9) nm, α=90°, β=114°, γ=90°, V=2.030(2) nm3. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibit two different 3-connected hcb and fes topologies, respectively. The structures of the two compounds both contain interesting characters of double-helical chains(left- and right-handed helical chains). Additionally, the mag- netic and luminescent properties of the two compounds were studied. 展开更多

Two new zinc(Ⅱ) coordination polymers, [Zn(ph)(H2 L)·H2O]2 n(1) and [Zn(ip)(H2 L)-(H2O)]n(2)(H2 ph = phthalic acid, H2 ip = isophthalic acid, H2L = 3-(1 H-pyrazol-4-yl)-5-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,... Two new zinc(Ⅱ) coordination polymers, [Zn(ph)(H2 L)·H2O]2 n(1) and [Zn(ip)(H2 L)-(H2O)]n(2)(H2 ph = phthalic acid, H2 ip = isophthalic acid, H2L = 3-(1 H-pyrazol-4-yl)-5-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole), have been successfully synthesized via hydrothermal reaction. It has been structurally characterized by X-ray single-crystal analysis, IR spectra, fluorescence spectroscopy and thermogravimetry analysis. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies reveal that compounds 1 and 2 both exhibit 1D chain structures, and assemble into 2D and 3D supermolecules through hydrogen bonds or π-π interactions. Moreover, the thermal stability and luminescent properties of compounds 1 and 2 were also studied. 展开更多
