Stroke-induced immunosuppression is a process that leads to peripheral suppression of the immune system after a stroke and belongs to the central nervous system injury-induced immunosuppressive syndrome.Stroke-induced immunosuppression leads to increased susceptibility to post-stroke infections,such as urinary tract infections and stroke-associated pneumonia,worsening prognosis.Molecular chaperones are a large class of proteins that are able to maintain proteostasis by directing the folding of nascent polypeptide chains,refolding misfolded proteins,and targeting misfolded proteins for degradation.Various molecular chaperones have been shown to play roles in stroke-induced immunosuppression by modulating the activity of other molecular chaperones,cochaperones,and their associated pathways.This review summarizes the role of molecular chaperones in stroke-induced immunosuppression and discusses new approaches to restore host immune defense after stroke. 展开更多

HSPB5是一种以高度保守的晶体结构为核心的蛋白质,在体内以动态寡聚体的形式存在。HSPB5表达受多种生理和病理因素调节,如在热应激下表达升高,活性受到磷酸化、乙酰化和糖基化等多种翻译后修饰的调节。生理条件下,HSPB5作为分子伴侣样蛋白质,能够降低错误折叠蛋白质的聚集,也可以与多种蛋白质相互作用,从而抑制细胞调亡。病理条件下,HSPB5还可以影响多种疾病进程,如阿尔茨海默病、心肌病、肿瘤、缺氧等。本文简要综述了HSPB5在生理病理条件下的作用和机制进展。调节HSPB5的表达水平和活性可能作为多种疾病的新治疗策略。 展开更多
