As for the performance of the cell, the I-V characteristics were measured under irradiation. Fluoroalkyl end-capped acrylic acid oligomer [RF-(ACA)n-RF]/hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) nanocomposites [RF-(ACA)n-RF/h-BN] were prepared by reaction of the corresponding oligomer with h-BN nanoparticles (mean diame...Fluoroalkyl end-capped acrylic acid oligomer [RF-(ACA)n-RF]/hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) nanocomposites [RF-(ACA)n-RF/h-BN] were prepared by reaction of the corresponding oligomer with h-BN nanoparticles (mean diameter: 50 nm) under non-catalytic or alkaline conditions, respectively. Fluoroalkyl end-capped N,N-dimethylacrylamide oligomer/h-BN nanocomposites [RF-(DMAA)n-RF/h-BN] were also obtained under similar conditions. It was demonstrated that RF-(ACA)n-RF/h-BN nanocomposites, which were prepared under alkaline conditions, afforded a clear weight loss in proportion to the contents of the oligomer in the composites after calcination at 800°C;however, the non-catalytic conditions enabled the RF-(ACA)n-RF/h-BN nanocomposite to give no weight loss behavior corresponding to the contents of the oligomer even after calcination. In fact, it was demonstrated that the RF-(ACA)n-RF/h-BN nanocomposites possessing a clear weight loss property could afford the fluorescent peak around 370 nm related to h-BN in the composites;however, the same fluorescent intensity of this nanocomposite after calcination at 800°C as that of the original h-BN was observed, indicating that this nanocomposite could give a clear weigh loss behavior corresponding to the content of the oligomer during the calcination process. In this article, addition of pyridine was investigated for the purpose of enhancing the short current density. Two kinds of ionic liquids were tested: imidazolium and pyrazolium systems. The two different stages of adding pyridine to the electrolyte were considered and the amount of pyridine was studied. It was found that the electrolyte including pyrazolium ionic liquids to which pyridine was added before the mixing with fluorinated oligomer showed the highest electric conductivity, short current density and open voltage. This resulted in the highest conversion efficiency of 4%. As the amount of pyridine increased, the fill factor and the open voltage were improved at first, and then the short current density increased. If the pyridine was added more, the short current density conversely decreased.展开更多

The structures of the synthesized polymers were characterized by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectrometry. In order to find out the effect of incorporated fluorine on the UV-cured films, the properties of the UV-cured films were tested through contact angle, water absorption, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The fractured-surface morphologies of the UV-cured coatings were investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). With increasing the content of fluorine segments, the contact angle of the UV-cured films increased and the water absorption decreased, suggesting the fluorine segments migrated and formed a fluorine-covered surface to avoid water penetration. The observation of the fractured-surface morphology through SEM test showed that the fluori- nated UV-cured films gained rough fractured-surface compared with the pure UV-cured polyacrylate film, demonstrating the migrating of the fluorine segments. The TGA curves show that the fluorinated UV-cured films gained higher thermal degradation temperature than the virgin UV-cured polyacrylate film. And as increasing the fluorine content, the thermal degradation temperature increased.
