Some new characteristics were discovered: the guided waves are classified in the forms of the Quasi-P, Quasi-SV and Quasi-SH waves and arranged by the standing wavenumber; there are many patterns for the physical property of the magneto-electro-elastic dielectric medium influencing the stress wave propagation. We proposed a self-adjoint method, by which the guided-wave restriction condition was derived. After the corresponding orthogonal sets were found, the analytic dispersion equa-tion was obtained. In the end, an example was presented. The dispersive spectrum, the group velocity curved face and the steady-state response curve of a mag-neto-electro-elastic plate were plotted. Then the wave propagations affected by the induced electric and magnetic fields were analyzed.展开更多
Under the action of abutment pressure in front of fully mechanized coal face with sublevel caving(CFSC),top-coal over CFSC deformed.In the process of whole de- formation of top-coal,it changed from continuum elastic m...Under the action of abutment pressure in front of fully mechanized coal face with sublevel caving(CFSC),top-coal over CFSC deformed.In the process of whole de- formation of top-coal,it changed from continuum elastic mass to non-continuum plastic mass contained fissures,become a loose body.According to its bearing characteristics and mechanical properties,top-coal mass can be divided into four deformation zones along the winning direction of CFSC,i.e.initial stress zone,elastic zone,plastic zone and loose zone.Top-coal in plastic zone located in the post-peak zone of the stress-strain curve for top-coal.With equivalent strain principle of damage mechanics and mathemati- cal theory of statistic,combining the movement law of top-coal,set up a constitutive equa- tion with damage statistics for top-coal in different position in CFSC.The equation illus- trated the mathematical relationship among top-coal bearing capacity,horizontal confining pressure along the winning direction of CFSC and mechanical properties of top-coal mate- rial.The conclusions not only provide a basis for numerical computer simulations on damage deformation and failure mechanism for top-coal,but also further promote the ap- plication of damage mechanics in CFSC.展开更多

It uses four sets of information: get the coordinates of each point on the 3D composite objects; (~)based on the 3D coordinates to calculate all the plane equation of two objects; (~)calculate all the intersecting lines of the two objects and exclude the intersecting lines which are not within the scope of the plane;finding the internal face, the remaining intersecting lines formed the plane is the internal face of the two objects. We proposed a new algorithm for finding internal faces. This algorithm could be adapted to any regular composite objects .The algorithm works well for finding internal faces.展开更多

An anisotropic solution adaptive method based on unstructured quadrilateral meshes for inviscid compressible flows is proposed.The data structure,the directional refinement and coarsening,including the method for init...An anisotropic solution adaptive method based on unstructured quadrilateral meshes for inviscid compressible flows is proposed.The data structure,the directional refinement and coarsening,including the method for initializing the refined new cells,for the anisotropic adaptive method are described.It provides efficient high resolution of flow features,which are aligned with the original quadrilateral mesh structures.Five different cases are provided to show that it could be used to resolve the anisotropic flow features and be applied to model the complex geometry as well as to keep a relative high order of accuracy on an efficient anisotropic mesh.展开更多
