 高级变质镁铁质岩石叶理形成于地壳深部环境,对其组成及形成机制的深入研究有助于讨论在深部地壳(下地壳)环境中岩石的表现与流动过程。以辽宁海城马风地区广泛出露的斜长角闪岩为例,对变质镁铁质岩石中几种不同类型叶理的组成及形成...  高级变质镁铁质岩石叶理形成于地壳深部环境,对其组成及形成机制的深入研究有助于讨论在深部地壳(下地壳)环境中岩石的表现与流动过程。以辽宁海城马风地区广泛出露的斜长角闪岩为例,对变质镁铁质岩石中几种不同类型叶理的组成及形成机制进行初步探讨。显微构造分析结果表明,变质斜长角闪岩中主要发育三种具有不同特点的叶理构造型式:条带状、糜棱状和片麻状。作为岩石叶理的主要组成矿物,角闪石对叶理的形成贡献最大。斜长石在不同类型岩石中对叶理的形成作用不同。组成叶理的斜长石和角闪石矿物对的温压测算结果表明,它们形成于426~532MPa和581℃~639℃之间。变质基性岩中叶理的形成是这种温度和压力条件下多种机制(包括晶体的定向重结晶作用、应力作用下的变质分异、晶质塑性变形、亚颗粒旋转动态重结晶)共同作用的结果。 展开更多

Recently the notion of coherence has come to a more rigorous footing, in particular, within the studies of finite-time nonautonomous dynamical systems. Here we recall “shape coherent sets” which is proven to correspond to slowly evolving curvature, for which tangency of finite time stable foliations (related to a “forward time” perspective) and finite time unstable foliations (related to a “backwards time” perspective) serve a central role. We compare and contrast this perspective to both the variational method of geodesics [17], as well as the coherent pairs perspective [12] from transfer operators. 展开更多

Deciphering the relationship between polyphase tectonic foliations and their associated mineral assemblages is significant in understanding the process from diagenesis to low-/medium-/high-grade metamorphism.It can provide information related to strain,metamorphic conditions and overprinting relationships and so help reveal the tectonic evolution of orogenesis.In this study,we predominately focus on the formation of foliations and their related minerals,as developed in two separate basins.First of all,two stages of axial plane cleavages(S1 and S2)were recognized in the Hongyanjing inter-arc basin,the formation of the S1 axial plane cleavage is associated with mica rotation and elongation in mudstones in the local area.The pencil structure of S2 formed during the refolding phase,the minerals in the sedimentary rocks not changing their shape and orientation.Secondly,in the Liao-Ji backarc basin,foliations include diagenetic foliation(bedding parallel foliation),tectonic S1 foliation(secondary foliation or axial plane cleavage of S0 folding)and crenulation cleavage(S2).The formation mechanism of foliation changes from mineral rotation or elongation and mineral solution transfer in S1 to crystal-plastic deformation,dynamic recrystallization and micro-folding in S2.Many index metamorphic minerals formed from low-grade to medium-grade consist of biotites,garnets,staurolite and kyanite,constituting a typical Barrovian metamorphic belt.Accordingly,a new classification of foliation is presented in this study.The foliations can be divided into continuous and disjunctive foliations,based on the existence of microlithons,detectable with the aid of a microscope.Disjunctive foliation can be further sub-divided into spaced foliation and crenulation cleavage,according to whether(or not)crenulation(micro-folding)is present.The size of the mineral grains is also significant for classification of the foliations. 展开更多

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate control of orientation of foliations and joints on the direction of valley axes in the Stribrne Hory area in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in central part of the Czech Republic. This area is predominantly built by metamorphic rocks. It is situated near the Pribyslav deep-seated fault. The data concerning of foliations, joints and valley axes were statistically analyzed and then visually compared according to their distribution using direction roses. Directions of valley axes have generally orientation of NNE-SSW, SE, E-W, NW and WNW and coincide with the system of foliations and ordinarily steep joints. 展开更多

伸展褶劈理(extensional crenulation cleavage,简称C’面理)作为韧性剪切带内常见的构造面理之一,在递进变形过程中是否旋转以及其如何影响剪切带面理(S面理)是尚未解决的构造地质前沿问题。本文统计了不同剪切带中C’面理、S面理和C面... 伸展褶劈理(extensional crenulation cleavage,简称C’面理)作为韧性剪切带内常见的构造面理之一,在递进变形过程中是否旋转以及其如何影响剪切带面理(S面理)是尚未解决的构造地质前沿问题。本文统计了不同剪切带中C’面理、S面理和C面理(糜棱岩面理)的夹角。结果发现,从剪切带边缘向中心随着应变逐渐增大,C’面理与剪切平面(C面理)的夹角(α)呈近正态单峰式分布,表明C’面理在递进变形过程中不旋转。在C’面理发育的情况下,S面理与C面理的夹角(β)随着应变的增加逐渐增大,即S面理在C’面理形成后发生反向旋转,因此原用于计算剪应变的公式:tan 2β=2γ失效。强弱互层材料的应变分配结果显示,一般剪切条件下,粘性分层与剪切平面的夹角(β)减小到20°时,强硬层的运动学涡度接近于0,即表现为纯剪切,而软弱层表现为近简单剪切;β小于10°时,强硬层发生反向旋转。由此可见,伸展褶劈理是不均匀岩层在递进变形过程中应变分配(strain partitioning)的结果。随着递进变形的进行,S面理与C面理的夹角逐渐减小,强硬层被分配以更多的纯剪切而布丁化,随后内部产生微型剪切条带并扩展形成C’面理,承担应变分配的简单剪切。至此,随着应变分配的完成,C面理上的剪切作用自行停止,因此C’面理不发生旋转,而S面理在C’面理的制约下开始反向旋转。 展开更多

U-Pb zircon dating on two foliated garnet-bearing granite samples in the western Dabie ultra-high-pressure (UHP) metamorphic unit yields concordant ages of (234±4) Ma and (227±5) Ma, respectively. These ages, following the UHP peak metamorphism, represent the magma emplacement ages for the foliated garnet-bearing granites. This, for the first time, shows that there are the Triassic granites in the Dabie Mountains. The foliated garnet-bearing granites resemble A-type granite in geochemical characteristics, indicating that they were formed in exten-sional geodynamic setting. The magma formation reflects a reheating event in the Dabie orogenic belt and it enhances the transfer of tectonic regime from collision into extension and promotes the rapid exhumation into lower crust for the UHP metamorphic rocks. 展开更多

印支期似斑状花岗岩构成了湘东中生代邓阜仙-锡田岩体的主体,其内发育两种类型的叶理构造,即流面和构造成因的片麻理。二者的标志性区别在于长石(斜长石和钾长石)斑晶在前者呈自形的短柱状,没有任何可见的韧性变形,而在后者呈椭圆状,明... 印支期似斑状花岗岩构成了湘东中生代邓阜仙-锡田岩体的主体,其内发育两种类型的叶理构造,即流面和构造成因的片麻理。二者的标志性区别在于长石(斜长石和钾长石)斑晶在前者呈自形的短柱状,没有任何可见的韧性变形,而在后者呈椭圆状,明显被压扁拉长。流面基本上围绕岩体边界呈面状分布,整个侵入体从外到内依次可划分出流面不发育、欠发育和发育三个相带,对应着由早至晚的三次岩浆脉动侵位。该期花岗岩侵位机制总体上类似于气球膨胀模型。与典型气球膨胀岩体不同的是,由于岩浆供给量在该期最后一次脉动侵位时的急剧减少,虽然流速增大,但对外挤压减弱,造成岩石应变强度从外到内趋向增加,而不是递减。构造成因的片麻理局部出现,走向总体上呈NE向,表明该花岗岩在准固态甚至固态下遭受到NW-SE向区域挤压作用。 展开更多

陕南汉阴北部金矿田位于南秦岭-北大巴山逆冲推覆系中。矿田内赋矿地层为下志留统梅子垭组(S1m)浅变质强变形片岩,构造格架为5条次级近EW走向的脆-韧性剪切带。由于矿田成因类型、脆-韧性剪切带性质及构造期次划分、构造控矿特征、构造... 陕南汉阴北部金矿田位于南秦岭-北大巴山逆冲推覆系中。矿田内赋矿地层为下志留统梅子垭组(S1m)浅变质强变形片岩,构造格架为5条次级近EW走向的脆-韧性剪切带。由于矿田成因类型、脆-韧性剪切带性质及构造期次划分、构造控矿特征、构造-成矿时代等关键问题研究仍存在争议和不足,从而制约矿田深部找矿。为此,本文采用矿田(区)大比例尺构造-蚀变岩相填图、锆石U-Pb和黑云母40Ar-39Ar测年等方法,查明金矿田脆-韧性剪切带内至少存在3期构造变形,其中以第二期(S2)构造变形为主,形成矿田内右行走滑-逆冲推覆控矿脆-韧性剪切带,走向NW-NWW,倾向NE-NNE。剪切带与蚀变矿化带空间位置关系套合较好,矿体产状变化受剪切带及S2期构造面理控制,剪切带的纵向脆性、韧性变形分带分别控制石英脉型和构造蚀变岩型矿化分布。脆-韧性剪切带内未发生剪切变形、且产状与剪切带产状近乎一致的花岗闪长岩脉锆石U-Pb年龄(180.2±3.6 Ma)和含矿黑云母变斑晶化蚀变岩黑云母40Ar-39Ar年龄(178.4±0.8 Ma),表明剪切带的活动时代应为178 Ma左右,属早侏罗世,处在南秦岭陆内造山期。结合前人获得的同构造带西段羊坪湾金矿载金黄铁矿Rb-Sr同位素年龄(208±0.88 Ma),表明金矿田的成矿作用可能始于晚三叠世,延续到侏罗纪,贯穿于脆-韧性剪切带变形活动期,即金成矿期为晚三叠世-侏罗纪。下一步找矿远景区应位于矿田脆-韧性剪切带内与金矿化密切相关的蚀变带发育部位。 展开更多

Five lengthy periods involving multiple phases of cordierite and andalusite growth were revealed by detailed studies of foliation inflection/intersection axes (FIA) preserved in porphyroblasts in schists from the Arkansas River region in Colorado, USA. The regionally consistent character of the succession of five different FIA trends enabled the relative timing of each FIA with respect to the next to be determined. The FIA succession from first to last is: FIA 1 trending W-E, FIA 2 trending SSW- NNE, FIA 3 trending NNW-SSE, FIA 4 trending NW-SE and FIA 5 trending SW-NE. For four of the FIA sets, samples were found containing monazite grains preserved as inclusions. These were dated on an electron microprobe. The ages obtained concur exactly with the FIA succession, with FIA 1 at 1506±15 Ma, FIA 2 at 1467±23 Ma, FIA 3 at 1425±18 Ma, FIA 4 not dated and FIA 5 at 1366±20 Ma. These ages are directly reflected in a succession of plutons in the surrounding region dated by other isotopic approaches, suggesting that deformation, metamorphism and pluton emplacement occurred together episodically, but effectively continuously, for some 140 Ma. 展开更多
