One-step diagnosis of exchanged hypercubes which involves only one testing phase during which processors test each other is discussed. The diagnosabilities of exchanged hypercubes are studied by using the pessimistic one-step diagno- sis strategy under two kinds of diagnosis models： the PMC model and the MM model. The main results presented here are the two proofs that the degree of diagnosability of the EH（s, t） under pessimistic one-step tl/tl fault diagnosis strategy is 2s where I ≤ s ≤ t （respectively, 2t, where 1 ≤ t ≤ s） based on the PMC model and that it is also 2s where 1 ≤ s ≤ t （respectively, 2t, where 1 ≤ t ≤ s） based on the MM＊ model.展开更多

In the process of refinement an unreliable channel is employed to simulate an attack behavior...Based on the study of existing fair exchange protocols, this paper sets up an accurate formal model by stepwise refinement. In the process of refinement an unreliable channel is employed to simulate an attack behavior. The model provides a novel formal definition of exchanged items, and presents the formal goals for fairness, accountability, etc., reflecting the inherent requirements for fair exchange protocols across-the-board. In order to check, prove, and design fair exchange protocols effectively and efficiently, the model puts forward a novel property of abuse-freeness which applies to all fair exchange protocols, gives a formal definition for trust strand of the third party, and presents general criteria of designing a secure and effective fair exchange protocol. Taking a typical fair exchange protocol as an example, this paper presents the analysis steps of fair exchange protocols appealing to our model. An unknown attack is uncovered. The analysis reveals the process of a complete attack, discovering deeper reasons for causing an attack. Finally, we modify the flawed protocol and the revised protocol ensures the desirable properties.展开更多
In the present study, energetic and entropic changes are investigated on a comparative basis, as they occur in the volume changes of an ideal gas in the Carnot cycle and in the course of the chemical reaction in a lea...In the present study, energetic and entropic changes are investigated on a comparative basis, as they occur in the volume changes of an ideal gas in the Carnot cycle and in the course of the chemical reaction in a lead-acid battery. Differences between reversible and irreversible processes have been worked out, in particular between reversibly exchanged entropy (∆<sub>e</sub>S) and irreversibly produced entropy (∆<sub>i</sub>S). In the partially irreversible case, ∆<sub>e</sub>S and ∆<sub>i</sub>S add up to the sum ∆S for the volume changes of a gas, and only this function has an exact differential. In a chemical reaction, however, ∆<sub>e</sub>S is independent on reversibility. It arises from the different intramolecular energy contents between products and reactants. Entropy production in a partially irreversible Carnot cycle is brought about through work-free expansions, whereas in the irreversible battery reaction entropy is produced via activated complexes, whereby a certain, variable fraction of the available chemical energy becomes transformed into electrical energy and the remaining fraction dissipated into heat. The irreversible reaction process via activated complexes has been explained phenomenologically. For a sufficiently high power output of coupled reactions, it is essential that the input energy is not completely reversibly transformed, but rather partially dissipated, because this can increase the process velocity and consequently its power output. A reduction of the counter potential is necessary for this purpose. This is not only important for man-made machines, but also for the viability of cells.展开更多
Study of physisorbed and chemisorbed carbon dioxide (CO<sub>2</sub>) species was carried out on the NaX zeolite modified by cationic exchanges with bivalent cations (Ca<sup>2+</sup> and Ba<s...Study of physisorbed and chemisorbed carbon dioxide (CO<sub>2</sub>) species was carried out on the NaX zeolite modified by cationic exchanges with bivalent cations (Ca<sup>2+</sup> and Ba<sup>2+</sup>) by temperature-programmed desorption of CO<sub>2</sub> (CO<sub>2</sub>-TPD). Others results were obtained by infrared to complete the study. The results of this research showed, in the physisorption region (213 - 473 K), that the cationic exchanges on NaX zeolite with bivalent cations increase slightly the interactions of CO<sub>2</sub> molecule with adsorbents and/or cationic site. Indeed, the desorption energies of physisorbed CO<sub>2</sub> obtained on the reference zeolite NaX (13.5 kJ·mol<sup>-1</sup>) are lower than that of exchanged zeolites E-CaX and E-BaX (15.77 and 15.17 kJ·mol<sup>-1</sup> respectively). In the chemisorbed CO<sub>2</sub> region (573 - 873 K), the desorption energies related to desorbed species (bidentate carbonates: CO<sub>3</sub>2-</sup>) on the exchanged zeolites E-CaX and E-BaX are about 81 kJ·mol<sup>-1</sup>, higher than the desorbed species (bicarbonates: HCO<sub>3</sub>2-</sup>) on the reference R-NaX (62 kJ·mol<sup>-1</sup>). In addition, the exchanged E-BaX zeolite develops the secondary adsorption sites corresponding to bicarbonates species with desorption energies of 35 kJ·mol<sup>-1</sup> lower to desorption energies of bicarbonates noted on the reference zeolite NaX.展开更多
Four kinds of Ce3+ exchanged montmorillonites (Ce/MMTs) were prepared by an ion-exchange reaction, and characterized with energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), X-ray difference (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscop...Four kinds of Ce3+ exchanged montmorillonites (Ce/MMTs) were prepared by an ion-exchange reaction, and characterized with energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), X-ray difference (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The surface properties and antibacterial activity of Ce/MMTs were also investigated. The chemical compositions of Ce/MMTs were determined, and the cerium of Ce/MMTs was confirmed to be present as trivalent cerium state. The d001 basal spacings of Ce/MMTs were enlarged with the enhancement of the cerium contents, and the particles were formed with irregular shape. On increasing the Ce contents of Ce/MMTs, the special surface areas were decreased, but the total pore volumes and the average pore sizes were increased. The antibacterial activity of Ce/MMTs is increased with increasing the cerium contents, and 1.5 g/L of Ce/MMT-3 containing 11.46wt.% of curium could remove all the Staphylococcus aureus and more than 99.9% of the Escherichia coli within 24.0 h of contact. Moreover, Ce/MMTs displayed bactericidal activity.展开更多

It has been proven that ECQ（s, t） has more attractive properties than other variations of the fundamental hypercube in terms of fewer edges, lower cost factor and smaller diameter. In this paper, we study the embedding of paths of distinct lengths between any two different vertices in ECQ（s, t）. We prove the result in ECQ（s, t）： if s≥3, t≥3, for any two different vertices, all paths whose lengths are between max{9,「s＋1/2」 ＋「t＋1/2＋4}and 2s＋t＋1？1 can be embedded between the two vertices with dilation 1. Note that the diameter of ECQ（s, t） is「s＋1/2 」＋「t＋1/2 」＋2. The obtained result is optimal in the sense that the dilations of path embeddings are all 1. The result reveals the fact that ECQ（s, t） preserves the path embedding capability to a large extent, while it only has about one half edges of CQn.展开更多

Unfortunately, the most wide spread of these substitute pigments, zinc ...A wide variety of inhibitive pigments is now being offered as possible alternatives to chromate and lead compounds for painted metals protection. Unfortunately, the most wide spread of these substitute pigments, zinc phosphate, has, at present, raised some environmental concern because phosphate causes the eutrophication of water courses and zinc itself is toxic. The aim of this re-search was to study the anticorrosive performance of a mixture consisting of zinc phosphate, modified zeolite and clay （bentonite） in order to diminish phosphate content in paints. The zeolite and the clay were exchanged with La（III） ions, as inorganic green inhibitor. In the first step, the anticorrosion protection by La（III） ions in solution was assessed by electrochemical tests. In the second step, an epoxy-polyamide paint formulated with the pigment mixture applied on galvanized panels was studied by salt spray test and electro-chemical noise measurements （ENM）. The results showed that it was possible to replace part of the zinc phosphate content in the paint with the exchanged zeolite and the clay.展开更多

文摘A cosimulation platform was established for distributed control systems via heterogeneous network,which integrated OPNET and Matlab/Simulink.The communication node in this cosimulation platform was built based on OSI model and UDP protocol,which was adopted as the transportation layer protocol.Data exchanged between the data source module and the specified node.It was fulfilled by revising the corresponding protocol modules based on the characteristics of UDP.The effectiveness of the constructed simulation platform was demonstrated by a numerical example.
