The Ni@Pd...To enhance the electrocatalytic activity of anode catalysts used in alkaline-media direct methanol fuel cells(DMFCs), a Ni@Pd Pt electrocatalyst was successfully prepared using a three-phase-transfer method. The Ni@Pd Pt electrocatalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), and high-resolution TEM(HRTEM) techniques. The experimental results indicate that the average particle size of the core–shell-structured Ni@Pd Pt electrocatalyst is approximately 5.6 nm. The Ni@Pd Pt electrocatalyst exhibits a catalytic activity 3.36 times greater than that of Pd Pt alloys for methanol oxidation in alkaline media. The developed Ni@Pd Pt electrocatalyst offers a promising alternative as a highly electrocatalytically active anode catalyst for alkaline DMFCs.展开更多

It has been pointed out that oxygen in silicon can restrain the interaction between Li and radiation defects. Only when the concentration of Li is not far less than that of oxygen, can this interaction take effect. The Li-related defects E(0.17), E(0.21) E(0.38), E(0.50), H(0.42) and H(0.47) have been observed under different conditions. The similarity and difference between lithium and hydrogen in their interaction with radiation defects have been compared.展开更多

As an essential component of flexible optoelectronic devices,transparent conductive films made of silver nanowire (AgNW) have attracted wide attention due to the extraordinary optical,electrical and mechanical propert...As an essential component of flexible optoelectronic devices,transparent conductive films made of silver nanowire (AgNW) have attracted wide attention due to the extraordinary optical,electrical and mechanical properties.However,the application of AgNW coating still faces some challenges to be overcome including large contact resistance and poor durability.Here,we induce insulating graphene oxide over silver nanowire network through solution process to modify the electrical property and provide a protective layer.Strong interaction with substrates reducing the contact resistance of AgNW junctions and extra conductive channels of graphene oxide sheets contributes to the dramatic enhancement in electric property as well as durability.The resulting coating exhibits superior and uniform optoelectronic performances (sheet resistance of ~ 38 Ω·sq^-1 with 91% transmittance at 550 nm),outstanding stability in harsh environments,strong adhesion,and excellent mechanical flexibility after 3,000 bending cycles at a bending radius of 2.0 mm,which imply the promising application prospects in flexible optoelectronics.展开更多
