More than a dozen sites were found to contain cultural remains corresponding to the Shang period and to be somewhat different from each other in cultural aspect. Synthetic analysis shows that some of them have cultural connotations similar to those of the predynastic Zhou culture or of the Shang cultural complex in western Guanzhong region represented by the lower strata of the Yijiabu site, whereas others possess distinctive features of their own. A problem worthy of further research is the relationship between the Duanjing, Xialei and Yangfengling sites in Binxian county and the Heidouzui and Xiliang sites in Chunhua county on one side and the predynastic Zhou and related cultures on the other.展开更多
