Magnetic memory signals were measured during the test process. The results show that only one point of Hp(y) zero value exists in all measured magnetic signal curves during the loading process, which should be a sign of intersection of positive-negative magnetic poles after magnetic ordered state appears and does not indicate the position of surface crack precut. The analysis shows that the surface crack precut can not interrupt the magnetic ordered state occurred during the test completely, hence its Hp(y) value is not zero. However, the crack extending to a penetrated defect at the instant of specimen′s fracture leads to the discontinuance of magnetic ordered state.展开更多

After the distribution of magnetic ?elds related to the de?ected con?guration of plate is imaginably divided into two parts, i.e., one is related to the ?at plate and the other dependent on the perturbation of magnetic ?elds for which the plate con?guration changes from the ?at into the deformed state, the perturbation technique is employed to analyze the distribution of the perturbation magnetic ?elds in and out-of the magnetic medium of the ferromagnetic structure in a transverse magnetic ?eld, which leads to some analytical formulae/solutions for the magnetic ?elds and the resulting magnetic force exerted on the plate. Based on them, the magneto-plastic buckling and snapping of the plate in a transverse magnetic ?eld is discussed, and the critical magnetic ?eld is analytically formulated in terms of the parameters of geometry and material of the plate employed by solving the governing equation of the magneto-plastic plate in the applied magnetic ?eld. Further, the sensitivity of the initial imperfection on the magneto-plastic instability, expressed by an ampli?cation function, is obtained by solving the dynamic equation of de?ection of the plate after the inertial force in the transverse direction is taken into account. The results obtained show that the critical magnetic ?eld is sensitive to the plastic characteristic, e.g., hardening coe?cient, and the instability mode and de?ection of the plate are dependent on the geometrical imperfection as well.展开更多

Magnetization measurements of the Co/Pt multilayers were performed to select the reference and free layers. The selection criteria are square magnetic hysteresis loops, weaker current shunting effect, and proper coercivity. The optimal reference layer and free layer are Pt(5.0 nm)/[Co(0.4 nm)/Pt(0.6 nm)]3/Co(0.4 nm)/Cu(3.0 nm)and Cu(3.0 nm)/[Co(0.4 nm)/Pt(1.5 nm)]4, respectively. The resulting pseudo SV exhibits two well-separated hysteresis loops when the field is applied perpendicular to the film plane. The minor hysteresis loop corresponding to the free layer shifts toward negative direction of the magnetic field axis, indicating ferromagnetic interlayer exchange coupling between the two magnetic layers. The coupling also enhances the coercivity(HC) of both layers. The perpendicular giant magnetoresistance(GMR) of 2.7 % is achieved with current in plane measurement. The GMR first increases when Pt seed layer is thickened, reaches a maximum of 3.0 % at 4 nm and then decreases with the further increase of thickness. But thicker Cu spacer layer always lowers the GMR of the SV.展开更多

The polymers possess low intrinsic viscosities and high thermal stabilities, losing little of their weights when heated to 〉 400℃. Upon pyrolysis at 〉 800℃, the polymers graphitize with high char yields (up to 86%). Hyperbranched polyarylenes efficiently emit deep-blue to blue-green lights with fluorescence quantum yields up to 98% and strongly attenuate intense laser pulses with optical power-limiting performances superior to that of C60, a well-known optical limiter. Poly(alkenephenylenes), poly(aroylarylenes) and polyynes are readily cross-linkable by UV irradiation, serving as excellent photoresist materials for the generation of patterns with nanometer resolution. Thin films of hyperbranched polyynes exhibit very high refractive indexes (n up to 1.86). The internal and terminal acetylene moieties of the polyynes readily form complexes with cobalt carbonyls, which can be transformed into soft ferromagnetic ceramics with high magnetic susceptibilities (Ms up to ca. 118 emu/g) and near-zero magnetic losses.展开更多
