It involves two new species and two new chinese records. All the measurements used in the decriptions of new species are in millimeter. Type specimens are deposited in the Laboratory of Fish Diseases, Institute of Hydrobiology, The Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan. Gyrodactylus donghuensis sp. nov.(Fig.1) Host: Rhodeus sinensis Günther Location: Gills Locality: Donghu Lake in Wuhan City of Hubei Province. Descriptions (based on 3 specimens): Body small in size, being 0.5-0.8 long and 0.09-0.107 wide. Marginal hooklets ordinarily typed, their total length 0.062-0.08, handle 0.059-0.063 and point 0.05-0.018. Total length of anchors 0.176- 0.018 . The basal portion 0.06-0.065, handle 0.13 -0.135 and point 0.085-0.0875 in length, respectively. Ventral bar 0.019-0.021×0.085-0.091 in size, ventral bar membrane 0.0155-0.02 long. Dorsal bar 0.0175-0.018×0.052-0.057 in size. Cirrus bulb absent. Remarks: The new species is similar to G. macrorhodei Ergens et Yukhimenko, 1975 in the structure of opisthohaptor, but differs in the size and chitinod structure. G. wuchangensis sp. nov.(Fig.2) Host: Rhodeus sinensis Günther Location: Gills Locality: Donghu Lake in Wuhan City of Hubei Province Descriptions (based on 4 specimens): Body small in size, being 0.18-0.24 long and 0.053- 0.072 wide. Pharynx 0.039×0.0635 in size. Marginal hooklets ordinarily typed, their total length 0.023- 0.027, handle 0.021-0.025 and point 0.0022-0.003. Total length of anchors 0.034- 0.036 . The basal portion 0.012-0.013, handle 0.0259-0.0275 and point 0.015- 0.016 in length, respectively. Ventral bar 0.003-0.006×0.014- 0.016 in size, ventral bar membrane 0.007 long. Dorsal bar 0.001 -0.002×0.0105- 0.011 in size. Cirrus bulb absent. Remarks: The new species is similar to G. rhodei Zitnan, 1964 in the structure of opisthohaptor, but differs in the size and chitinod structure. G. rhodei Zitnan, 1964.(Fig.3) Host: Acanthorhodeu展开更多
