Marxist theory of world history from Marx to Rosa Luxemburg and Lenin,around the discussion of the national relations between the Eastern and the Western,undergoes the development from non-determinism to determinism,a...Marxist theory of world history from Marx to Rosa Luxemburg and Lenin,around the discussion of the national relations between the Eastern and the Western,undergoes the development from non-determinism to determinism,and again to the non-determinism.Marx,by explanation of historical necessity and contingency,establishes the non-determinist theory of world history.Rosa Luxemburg and Lenin,on the basis of their own understanding of imperialism,respectively makes advancements of Marx’s idea of the determinism and non-determinism of world history,thus forming the two opposed concepts between determinism and non-determinism of world history.This course vividly presents Marxist dialectic of the world history.This paper tries to points out the two defects of the concept of totality of modernization by presenting the dialectical development:firstly,the conception of totality,in the name of the universality of world economy,politics and culture,conceals the essence of modernization;secondly,the conception of totality,by stressing the inner consistence and inseparability of West economy,politics and culture,denies the position and role of developing countries in the modern world system.展开更多
