It proposes that the Asian mode of production is the starting point of Marx’s oriental social theories. The Asian mode is not only the social form for the Eastern society, but also the ubiquitous social form at early stage of human societies. Marx always explores oriental society and its way of development under the background of world history. The real significance of Marx’s idea passing through the "Caudine Forks" , is that it furnishes us with a scientific method for researches of the social development courses of developing countries, especifically, the intricate dialectics of material forces of production and their relations of production against the background of national and international existence. Marx’s oriental social theory has the inclination of humanistic concerns, while setting its theoretical roots in a grand historical background.
