Methods: 84 scapulohumeral periarthritis patients were treated by puncturing Yanglingquan (GB 34) on the healthy side and Ahshi (tender) point on the affected side once every day or every other day. 10 treatments were considered as a therapeutic course. In addition, they were asked to do functional exercise by themselves after treatment. Results: Of the 84 cases, 28 were cured, 40 experienced improvement and 16 had no significant changes. Conclusion: Opposing needling of Ahshi point has a good therapeutic effect in treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis.展开更多
