In the concrete "processes-events",what features village officials’ function and behavior possess are determined not only by specific village settings, but also by the activeness of village cadres-as the subject of behavior-in their adaptation to and selection of environment. This article thereby analyzes the impact of background of China’s present typically agricultural villages upon the role and behavior of village heads(R&BVH) and upon their rational selection of political environment, and offers the theory of "Dual Marginalization"- a typologic interpretation of R&BVH.展开更多
