The theory of transmitted rotation of glass reflector is, too, discussed in the paper. It has been shown that for linear polarized light normal to the plane of incidence, the original angle of rotation will inerease and for that parallel to the plane of incidence the decrease of the original angle of rotation will be expected. With the formula derived, calculations are made for certain cases. The trial-measurements of angles of.transmitted rotation by the coated glassreflector of some ore microscopes have been carried Out and the results indicate that the theoretical calculations are well coincident with the practical measurements. Finally, a new way is suggested for the application of transmitted rotation.展开更多
