Methods: 89 patients of type 2 diabetes treated with the Suifonylureas and the Biguanides were divided into treatment group (59 cases) and control group (30 cases). The treatment group were treated with the drugs for supplementing Qi and nourishing Yin, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis. Before and after the treatment, fasting plasma glucose and insulin (FPG and FINS ), insulin action index (IAI) were determined. Results: After the treatment, the level of FPG was decreased, the level of IAI was increased, the difference of FINS was not significant in the treatment group. Conclusions: The drugs for supplementing Qi and nourishing Yin, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis may improve insulin resistance to decrease FPG.展开更多
