Baiyin city, located in the middle of Gansu Province, is a famous Copper City in China, an old industrial base and the biggest non-ferrous metal industrial base. But there exists a series of environmental geological problems. Waste gas, water and residue have heavily polluted the mine and surrounding ecological environment, which has influenced the health of the surrounding people, has constrained the further development and exploitation of the mineral resources from the mines. Based on the special environmental problems in the mine, it is proposed to carry out some countermeasures to rebuild and improve the ecological environment: to apply a clean produce technology to control and lower the pollution discharge, to apply advanced reclamation technologies to rebuild and improve the polluted environment, to strengthen the scientific research and international cooperation, and to develop a circular economy in mines.展开更多
