However,if the divinatory diagrams,symbols and oracle inscriptions are taken into consideration,it is still a history book of divination. Through the study on divinatory symbols in Yin Ruins,Yin Yi belongs to the divination of Shang Dynasty with divination symbols on bones found in Si-pan-mo and divination symbols on shells found in Xiao-tun-nan-di as the representatives.
