Al2O3·3H2O alone or Al2O3·3H2O and P2O5 in combination have been used to modify talc powder. It is concluded that the optimum retention effect of talc can be achieved by covering it with 5% Al2O3·3H2O. Adding 30% filler, the retention from 2.5% P2O5, 2.5% Al2O3·3H2O covered talc powder is higher than that of 5% Al2O3·3H2O covered talc powder, which are 29.76% and 11.35% higher than that of the unmodified talc powder respectively.展开更多
