The paper analyses the history of the studies of contemporary foreign philosophy in China over the past three decades in terms of conceptual space.It is divided with six parts,each of which focuses on different dimens...The paper analyses the history of the studies of contemporary foreign philosophy in China over the past three decades in terms of conceptual space.It is divided with six parts,each of which focuses on different dimensions of the central idea of philosophical space.Having briefly exploring the history of the introduction of Western philosophy into China over a century,the paper characterizes the coexistence or Being-with as the feature of contemporary Chinese philosophy in connection with Western philosophy at present.Thus,it summaries the recent developments of the studies and the teaching of contemporary foreign philosophy in China.It emphases the establishment of a common philosophical space in which Chinese and Western philosophies could be conceptualized in some ways.Finally it concludes with a proposal for approaching the commonality of Chinese and Western philosophies in the future.展开更多
