Three patients with chronic binocular vertical diplopia and small comitant hy potropic deviations due to macular displacement (heterotopia) associated with mo nocular retinal wrinkling are described. This maculopathy was idiopathic in two and secondary to treated retinal detachment in the third. Displacement of the ma cula by vitreoretinal traction is an unusual cause of binocular diplopia that re quires careful ophthalmoscopy to diagnose.展开更多
