On behalf of China Foundation for Human Rights Development, I would like to express warm welcome to our old friend, Mrs. Gmelin, the German participants, all the experts and scholars and representatives from media. Since 1999, we have successfully held 6 human rights seminars. On the basis of mutual respect and equality, both sides have made extensive and open explorations and exchanges over human rights vs. social, economic and cultural development, the young people's rights, women's rights and interests, the NGOs and community building, titus contributing to promoting mutual understanding, friendship and the cause of human rights of the two countries. I believe this seminar will be more successful and achieve more fruitful results.展开更多
