When the end ...The mirror extending approach proposed by Zhao and Huang in EMD method is improved in this paper. Mirror extending manner of data is kept unchanged, but the approach for determining envelopes is changed. When the end of data is obviously not extremum, the envelope is determined by the first inner extremum and the image value in the mirror, ignoring the value on the end. This improvement eliminates the frequency compression near the end and decreases the error. Meanwhile, tridiagonal equations are used and the calculation speed is much increased. The temporal process curve is more important in reflecting the real physical process and comparable with other phenomena. Frequency mixing in IMFs makes it impossible. A high frequency reconstruction (HFR) approach is proposed to eliminate common frequency mixing and reconstruct an IMF with all high frequency portions. By this approach, the IMFs without frequency mixing are obtained to express significative processes. The high frequency information restored in high frequency IMF can be extracted by general spectrum method. After obtaining IMFs by EMD method, some of the theoretical and technological issues still exist when using the IMFs. The consistency of IMFs with real physical process is discussed in detail. By virtue of the approach proposed in this paper, the EMD method can be widely used in various fields.展开更多

It was shown thatA2017 dendrites growing on the rough roll surface are crashed into fragments by the roll, which moveand grow freely then contribute the formation of finer spherical microstruc-ture. When casting at710-750℃, fine and homogeneous spherical or elliptical grains of A2017 alloy were obtained.Extending forming mould has been designed and was installed at the exit of roll-shoe gap. A2017alloy was formed by extending continuously at the semisolid state on SRS machine. Throughcontrolling pouring temperature, semisolid forming and extending extrusion was combined organically.A2017 product with fine surface and rectangular transection of 14 mm x 25 mm was obtained. Bycontrast to the national standard, the fracture strength and elongation of A2017 products producedfrom extending semisolid extrusion have been improved with an increase of 100 MPa and 29%,respectively.展开更多
The northwest trending tectonic belt in the middle part of the Mesozoic intraplate Yanshan Orogenic Belt, northeast Hebei Province, is composed of thrusts, extensional faults, strike-slip faults and syntectonic sedime...The northwest trending tectonic belt in the middle part of the Mesozoic intraplate Yanshan Orogenic Belt, northeast Hebei Province, is composed of thrusts, extensional faults, strike-slip faults and syntectonic sedimentations as well. The northeastward basement-involved major thrusting deformation occurred between 174Ma and 168MaBP and was followed by an intrusion of the granitic plutonic rocks. As a part of the post-thrusting extensional deformations a northwest extending volcano-sedimentation system of Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous formed in the southwest side of the belt. These volcano-sedimentary sequences are divided into Tuchengzi Formation, Zhangjiakou Formation, Yixian Formation and Jiufotang Formation re- spectively. They are characterized by southeastward migration as a result of the increasing down-dip slip displacement along the major extensional fault toward the southeast of the belt. The provenance area of the Jiufotang Formation north to it experienced southwestward thrusting during and after its later sedimentation. The thrusting in this stage resulted in the formation of an asymmetric footwall syncline with vergence to SW in the Jiufotang Formation in the NE side of the basin. Finally a dextral strike-slip deformation occurred along the NW tectonic belt. The striking tectono-geomorphological features and present seismic activities along this belt indicate that it has been being active since Cenozoic era and is still in the active state at present. This northwest extending tectonic belt was following the same direction and location as the existing fault systems within the basement as revealed by former geological and geophysical studies. So it is reasonable to infer the Mesozoic deformation along this belt to be a result of reactivation of the basement structures in a favorable tectonic stress field. The reactivation of basement struc- tures might be taken as one of the mechanisms of intraplate deformation and orogeny.展开更多

For this cla...There exists a large class of nonlinear systems with uncertainties, such as hydrau- lic turbine governors, whose robust control problem is hard to solve by means of the existing robust control approaches. For this class of systems, this work pre- sents a dynamic extending H∞ controller via both differential geometry and H∞ the- ory. Furthermore, based on differential game theory, it has been verified that the proposed control strategy has robustness in the sense that the disturbance can be attenuated effectively because the L2-gain from the disturbance input to the regu- lation output signal could be reduced to any given level. Thirdly, a robust control strategy for hydraulic turbine governor is designed according to the proposed ex- tending H∞ control method, and has been developed into a real control equipment. Finally the field experiments are carried out which show clearly that the developed control equipment can enhance transient stability of power systems more effec- tively than the conventional controller.展开更多
Iron‐based pyrophosphates are attractive cathodes for sodium‐ion batteries due to their large framework,cost‐effectiveness,and high energy density.However,the understanding of the crystal structure is scarce and on...Iron‐based pyrophosphates are attractive cathodes for sodium‐ion batteries due to their large framework,cost‐effectiveness,and high energy density.However,the understanding of the crystal structure is scarce and only a limited candidates have been reported so far.In this work,we found for the first time that a continuous solid solution,Na_(4−α)Fe_(2+α)_(2)(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)(0≤α≤1,could be obtained by mutual substitution of cations at center‐symmetric Na3 and Na4 sites while keeping the crystal building blocks of anionic P_(2)O_(7) unchanged.In particular,a novel off‐stoichiometric Na_(3)Fe(2.5)(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)is thus proposed,and its structure,energy storage mechanism,and electrochemical performance are extensively investigated to unveil the structure–function relationship.The as‐prepared off‐stoichiometric electrode delivers appealing performance with a reversible discharge capacity of 83 mAh g^(−1),a working voltage of 2.9 V(vs.Na^(+)/Na),the retention of 89.2%of the initial capacity after 500 cycles,and enhanced rate capability of 51 mAh g^(−1)at a current density of 1600 mA g^(−1).This research shows that sodium ferric pyrophosphate could form extended solid solution composition and promising phase is concealed in the range of Na_(4−α)Fe_(2+α)_(2)(P_(2)O_(7))_(2),offering more chances for exploration of new cathode materials for the construction of high‐performance SIBs.展开更多
