The recent progress of FOH is introduced from five aspects, including large-scale FOH array, very-low-frequency detection, fiber-optic vector hydrophone (FOVH), towed linear array, and deep-sea and long-haul transmission. In this paper, a two-dimensional(2D) DOA estimation algorithm of coherent signals with a separated linear acoustic vector-sensor(AVS) array consisting of two sparse AVS arrays is proposed. Firstly,the partitioned spatial smoothing(PSS) technique is used to construct a block covariance matrix, so as to decorrelate the coherency of signals. Then a signal subspace can be obtained by singular value decomposition(SVD) of the covariance matrix. Using the signal subspace, two extended signal subspaces are constructed to compensate aperture loss caused by PSS.The elevation angles can be estimated by estimation of signal parameter via rotational invariance techniques(ESPRIT) algorithm. At last, the estimated elevation angles can be used to estimate automatically paired azimuth angles. Compared with some other ESPRIT algorithms, the proposed algorithm shows higher estimation accuracy, which can be proved through the simulation results. 展开更多

This work investigates the direction-of-arrival(DOA) estimation for a uniform circular acoustic Vector-Sensor Array(UCAVSA) mounted around a cylindrical baffle.The total pressure field and the total particle velocity field near the surface of the cylindrical baffle are analyzed theoretically by applying the method of spatial Fourier transform.Then the so-called modal vector-sensor array signal processing algorithm,which is based on the decomposed wavefield representations,for the UCAVSA mounted around the cylindrical baffle is proposed.Simulation and experimental results show that the UCAVSA mounted around the cylindrical baffle has distinct advantages over the same manifold of traditional uniform circular pressure-sensor array(UCPSA).It is pointed out that the acoustic Vector-Sensor(AVS) could be used under the condition of the cylindrical baffle and that the UCAVSA mounted around the cylindrical baffle could also combine the anti-noise performance of the AVS with spatial resolution performance of array system by means of modal vector-sensor array signal processing algorithms. 展开更多

三维高效视频编码(3D High Efficiency Video Coding,3D-HEVC)中视差估计算法存在处理数据量大、运算时间长和资源消耗大的问题,进一步提高算法执行效率对于3D-HEVC的推广应用具有十分重要的意义。在深入分析视差估计算法的并行性的基础... 三维高效视频编码(3D High Efficiency Video Coding,3D-HEVC)中视差估计算法存在处理数据量大、运算时间长和资源消耗大的问题,进一步提高算法执行效率对于3D-HEVC的推广应用具有十分重要的意义。在深入分析视差估计算法的并行性的基础上,基于项目组开发的视频阵列处理器(DPR-CODEC),提出一种新的并行实现方案。在可重构阵列结构中完成了视差估计算法的并行映射、功能仿真和FPGA测试,显著减少了视差估计算法的执行时间。实验结果表明,所提出的并行实现方案相比于串行单PE执行时间节省了59%,基于可编程可重构阵列的并行实现在具有较高的执行效率的同时也具有较好的灵活性。 展开更多

As an important computing operation,photonic matrix-vector multiplication is widely used in photonic neutral networks and signal processing.However,conventional incoherent matrix-vector multiplication focuses on real-valued operations,which cannot work well in complex-valued neural networks and discrete Fourier transform.In this paper,we propose a systematic solution to extend the matrix computation of microring arrays from the real-valued field to the complex-valued field,and from small-scale(i.e.,4×4)to large-scale matrix computation(i.e.,16×16).Combining matrix decomposition and matrix partition,our photonic complex matrix-vector multiplier chip can support arbitrary large-scale and complex-valued matrix computation.We further demonstrate Walsh-Hardmard transform,discrete cosine transform,discrete Fourier transform,and image convolutional processing.Our scheme provides a path towards breaking the limits of complex-valued computing accelerator in conventional incoherent optical architecture.More importantly,our results reveal that an integrated photonic platform is of huge potential for large-scale,complex-valued,artificial intelligence computing and signal processing. 展开更多

The accurate knowledge of the thrust vector eccentricity and beam divergence characteristics of Hall thrusters are of significant engineering value for the beneficial integration and successful application of Hall thrusters on spacecraft.For the characteristics of the plume bipolar diffusion due to the annular discharge channel of the Hall thruster,a Gaussian-fitted method for thrust vector deviation angle and beam divergence of Hall thrusters based on dual Faraday probe array planes was proposed in respect of the Hall thruster beam characteristics.The results show that the ratios of the deviation between the maximum and minimum values of the beam divergence angle and the thrust vector eccentricity angle using a Gaussian fit to the optimized Faraday probe dual plane to the mean value are 1.4%and 11.5%,respectively.The optimized thrust vector eccentricity angle obtained has been substantially improved,by approximately 20%.The beam divergence angle calculated using a Gaussian fitting to the optimized Faraday probe dual plane is approximately identical to the non-optimized one.The beam divergence and thrust vector eccentricity angles for different anode mass flow rates were obtained by averaging the beam divergence and thrust vector eccentricity angles calculated by the dual-plane,Gaussian-fitted ion current density method for different cross-sections.The study not only allows for an immediate and effective tool for determining the design of thrust vector adjustment mechanisms of spacecraft with different power Hall thrusters but also for characterizing the 3D spatial distribution of the Hall thruster plume. 展开更多

针对声矢量水听器阵主动探测问题,从声矢量混响空间特性方面开展研究。首先,从理论上分析各向同性混响条件下声压阵、振速阵的空间相关系数,指出远距离、长处理帧条件下声压、振速阵列半波长以上阵元间距的各向同性混响近似不相关;然后... 针对声矢量水听器阵主动探测问题,从声矢量混响空间特性方面开展研究。首先,从理论上分析各向同性混响条件下声压阵、振速阵的空间相关系数,指出远距离、长处理帧条件下声压、振速阵列半波长以上阵元间距的各向同性混响近似不相关;然后,以此为基础,给出声矢量圆阵信号接收模型,并针对各向异性、各向同性混响共存情况,给出了一种声矢量解析振速平滑阵列处理方法。该方法充分利用解析振速结构特点,对声压、解析振速阵列数据协方差矩阵进行累加平均,有效减小了不同阵元各向异性混响成分相干性。实测数据结果表明:声矢量解析振速平滑方法的常规波束形成处理与最小方差无畸变波束形成处理的声场级都小于声压阵处理结果,具有更高的目标分辨能力。 展开更多

To aim at the problem that the horizontal directivity index of the vector hy- drophone vertical array is not higher than that of a vector hydrophone, the high-resolution azimuth estimation algorithm based on the data fusion method was presented. The proposed algorithnl first employs MUSIC algorithm to estimate the azimuth of each divided sub-band signal, and then the estimated azimuths of multiple hydrophones are processed by using the data fusion technique. The high-resolution estimated result is achieved finally by adopting the weighted histogram statistics method. The results of the simulation and sea trials indicated that the proposed algorithm has better azimuth estimation performance than MUSIC algorithm of a single vector hydrophone and the data fusion technique based on the acoustic energy flux method. The better performance is reflected in the aspects of the estimation precision, the probability of correct estimation, the capability to distinguish multi-objects and the inhibition of the noise sub-bands. 展开更多

Acoustic vector sensor consists of pressure and particle velocity sensors,which measure the three-dimensional acoustic particle velocity,as well as the pressure at one location at the same time.By preserving the amplitude and phase information of the pressure and particle velocity,they possess a number of advantages over traditional scalar sensors.Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) gain (which is often called array gain) is one of such advantages and is always interested by all of us.But it is not unchangeable if the spatial correlation of the noise field varies.Much more important,it is difficult to be given if the noise becomes complex.In this paper,spatial correlation of the vector field of isotropic volume-noise and surface-generated noise has been introduced briefly.Based on the results,the combined SNR output of a vector linear array is investigated and the maximum gain is given in the specified noise.Computer simulation shows that the output of one array in the same noise is not the same in different gestures.And then we find the best gesture through SNR calculation and obtain the biggest gain,which has important meaning to guide how to deploy an array in practice.We also should use the array with respect to the characteristics of the real ambient noise,especially in anisotropic noise field. 展开更多

The high resolution of DOA(direction of arrival) estimation could be obtained by using the min-norm algorithm. In this paper, the expression of the min-norm spatial spectrum based on acoustic vector-sensor(AVS) linear arrays was presented and simulation study was carried out. Results of simulations indicated that left/right ambiguity could be removed and better performance for DOA estimation was obtainable when dealing with sources close to endfire than using pressure hydrophone linear arrays, and the interelement spacing was allowed to exceed the half-wavelength upper limit. A three-element vector hydrophone linear array with two meters interspace was designed. The AVS experiment was carried out at Songhua Lake in Jinlin Province. Experimental results show a high resolution tracking of targets can be obtained using the rain-norm algorithm. 展开更多
