Many algorithm...Unit commitment (UC) is an optimization problem used to determine the operation schedule of the generating units at every hour interval with varying loads under different constraints and environments. Many algorithms have been invented in the past five decades for optimization of the UC problem, but still researchers are working in this field to find new hybrid algorithms to make the problem more realistic. The importance of UC is increasing with the constantly varying demands. There- fore, there is an urgent need in the power sector to keep track of the latest methodologies to further optimize the working criterions of the generating units. This paper focuses on providing a clear review of the latest techniques employed in optimizing UC problems for both stochastic and deterministic loads, which has been acquired from many peer reviewed published papers. It has been divided into many sections which include various constraints based on profit, security, emission and time. It emphasizes not only on deregulated and regulated environments but also on renewable energy and distributed generating systems. In terms of contributions, the detailed analysis of all the UC algorithms has been discussed for the benefit of new researchers interested in working in this field.展开更多
The determination of the dynamic load is one of the indispensable technologies for structure design and health monitoring for aerospace vehicles.However,it is a significant challenge to measure the external excitation...The determination of the dynamic load is one of the indispensable technologies for structure design and health monitoring for aerospace vehicles.However,it is a significant challenge to measure the external excitation directly.By contrast,the technique of dynamic load identification based on the dynamic model and the response information is a feasible access to obtain the dynamic load indirectly.Furthermore,there are multi-source uncertainties which cannot be neglected for complex systems in the load identification process,especially for aerospace vehicles.In this paper,recent developments in the dynamic load identification field for aerospace vehicles considering multi-source uncertainties are reviewed,including the deterministic dynamic load identification and uncertain dynamic load identification.The inversion methods with different principles of concentrated and distributed loads,and the quantification and propagation analysis for multi-source uncertainties are discussed.Eventually,several possibilities remaining to be explored are illustrated in brief.展开更多
With dynamic reliability problems of stochastic parameters,supercavity vehicle is subject to impact loads.The supercavity vehicle is modeled by using eight-node super-parametric shell elements.The tail impact loads of...With dynamic reliability problems of stochastic parameters,supercavity vehicle is subject to impact loads.The supercavity vehicle is modeled by using eight-node super-parametric shell elements.The tail impact loads of supercavity vehicle structures are simplified into two stationary random processes with a certain phase difference,and the random excitations are transformed into sinusoidal ones in terms of the pseudo excitation method.The stress response of stochastic structure can be obtained through combining Newmark method with pseudo excitation perturbation method,and then all required digital features for dynamic reliability of supercavity vehicle have be calculated.The expressions of the mean value and the variance of dynamic reliability of supercavity vehicle with stochastic parameters are educed on the basis of the Poisson formula of calculating dynamic reliability.Finally,the influence of the randomness of structural parameters on the dynamic reliability is analyzed.And the feasibility and availability of this method were validated by comparing with the Monte Carlo method.展开更多
