陆相前陆盆地层序地层学是目前层序地层学的一个重要研究领域和方向。准噶尔南缘为一两期叠加的复合再生型前陆盆地,综合地震、测井、钻井、露头资料对晚期前陆层序进行了划分,共划分出1个一级层序,3个二级层序,5个三级层序以及15个四... 陆相前陆盆地层序地层学是目前层序地层学的一个重要研究领域和方向。准噶尔南缘为一两期叠加的复合再生型前陆盆地,综合地震、测井、钻井、露头资料对晚期前陆层序进行了划分,共划分出1个一级层序,3个二级层序,5个三级层序以及15个四级层序。依据前陆盆地构造-沉积演化的旋回性及层序的内部发育特征,将各个二级层序划分出4个体系域。建立了准南前陆盆地层序地层模式,探讨了构造活动的层序地层响应。构造活动控制层序界面的形成,一次逆冲末期的回弹隆升和下一次逆冲引起的变形是形成构造层序界面的主要原因。随着造山带前缘推覆的不断向前发展,前陆盆地的沉降中心和沉积中心向斜坡带方向迁移。构造层序的发育具有旋回性和阶段性,每一层序始于沉降速率迅速加快。 展开更多

A geochemical analysis of rare-earth elements (REEs) in 97 samples collected from the core of deep-water Well LS-A located at the Lingnan Low Uplift Area of the Qiongdongnan Basin is conducted, with the pur-pose of revealing the changes of sedimentary source and environment in the study region since Oligocene and evaluating the response of geochemical characteristics of REEs to the tectonic evolution. In the core samples, both∑REE and∑LREE (LREE is short for light-group REEs) fluctuate in a relatively wide range, while∑HREE (HREE is short for heavy-group REEs) maintains a relatively stable level. With the stratigraphic chronology becoming newer, both∑REE and∑LREE show a gradually rising trend overall. The∑REE of the core is relatively high from the bottom of Yacheng Formation (at a well depth of 4 207 m) to the top of Ledong Formation, and the REEs show partitioning characteristics of the enrichment of LREE, the stable content of HREE, and the negative anomaly of Eu to varying degrees. Overall the geochemical characteristics of REEs are relatively approximate to those of China's neritic sediments and loess, with significant "continental ori-entation". The∑REE of the core is relatively low in the lower part of Yacheng Formation (at a well depth of 4 207-4 330 m), as shown by the REEs partitioning characteristics of the depletion of LREE, the relative enrich-ment of HREE, and the positive anomaly of Eu; the geochemical characteristics of REEs are approximate to those of oceanic crust and basalt overall, indicating that the provenance is primarily composed of volcanic eruption matters. As shown by the analyses based on sequence stratigraphy and mineralogy, the provenance in study region in the early Oligocene mainly resulted from the volcanic materials of the peripheral uplift ar-eas; the continental margin materials from the north contributed only insignificantly; the provenance devel-oped to a certain extent in the late Oligocene. Based on the case history study of sequence stratigraphic framework,sequence model,and the controlling factors on sequence formation in the southern Junggar foreland basin,a contrasting comparison of the characteristics among the foreland basin,the faulted basin,and the sag basin is made in the aspects of sequence architecture,filling style,the controlling factors on sequence development,the migrations of basin center and depocenter,etc..The current study results show that there are major differences and these are documented as follows.(1) The accommodation space in foreland basin is mainly created by the subsidence caused by thrusting and napping in the foothill belt,resulting in progradational-dominated parasequence sets in the foothill area and retrogradational parasequence sets in the ramp region.(2) The accommodation space in an open-lake system in faulted basin is mainly created by the activities of the basin margin faults;thus,tectonic sequences are formed.However,in the closed-lake system,the subaqueous accommodation is mainly controlled by climatic-influenced lake-level fluctuations,and climatic sequence is formed.(3) In sag basin,a closed-lake system is easily formed due to its generation often within the cratons and isolation from the sea,and its accommodation space creation is mainly controlled by climatic lake-level fluctuations;thus,the sequence architecture in sag basin is similar to that formed on the passive continental margin. 展开更多
