The state...In this paper, the marginal Rao-Blackwellized particle filter (MRBPF), which fuses the Rao-Blackwellized particle filter (RBPF) algorithm and the marginal particle filter (MPF) algorithm, is presented. The state space is divided into linear and non-linear parts, which can be estimated separately by the MPF and the optional Kalman filter. Through simulation in the terrain aided navigation (TAN) domain, it is demonstrated that, compared with the RBPF, the root mean square errors (RMSE) and the error variance of the nonlinear state estimations by the proposed MRBPF are respectively reduced by 29% and 96%, while the unique particle count is increased by 80%. It is also found that the MRBPF has better convergence properties, and analysis has shown that the existing RBPF is nothing more than a special case of the MRBPF.展开更多

Provided that the initial prior intensity of the states is Gaussian or can be identified as a Gaussian sum, the analytical results of the algorithm show that the posterior intensity at any subsequent time step remains a Gaussian sum under the assumption that the state noise, the measurement noise, target spawn intensity, new target birth intensity, target survival probability, and detection probability are all Gaussian sums. The analysis also shows that the existing Gaussian mixture probability hypothesis density (GMPHD) filter, which is unsuitable for handling the non-Gaussian noise cases, is no more than a special case of the proposed algorithm, which fills the shortage of incapability of treating non-Gaussian noise. First of all, mechanical structure and control system of...As a key assembly in the 5-axis CNC machine tools, positioning precision of the A-axis directly affects the machining accuracy and surface quality of the parts. First of all, mechanical structure and control system of the A-axis are designed. Then, considering the influence of nonlin- ear friction, backlash, unmodeled dynamics, uncertain cutting force and other external disturbance on the control precision of the A-axis, an adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC) based on extended state observer (ESO) is proposed. ESO is employed to estimate the state variables of the unknown system and an adaptive law is adopted to compensate for the input dead-zone caused by friction, backlash and other nonlinear characteristics. Finally, stability of the closed-loop system is guaran- teed by the Lyapunov theory. Positioning experiments illustrate the perfect estimation of ESO and the stronger anti-interference and robustness of ASMC, which can improve the control precision of the A-axis by about 40 times. Processing experiments show that the ASMC can reduce the waviness, averaKe error and roughness of the nrocessed surface by 35.63%, 31.31% and 30.35%, respectively.展开更多

Here, we develop a nonlinear optical paradigm to implement self- and cross-convolution of optic...The generation and manipulation of optical vortices are of fundamental importance in a variety of promising applications. Here, we develop a nonlinear optical paradigm to implement self- and cross-convolution of optical vortex arrays, demonstrating the features of a vortex copier and regenerator. We use a phase-only spatial light modulator to prepare the 1064 nm invisible fundamental light to carry special optical vortex arrays and use a potassium titanyl phosphate crystal to perform type Ⅱ second-harmonic generation in the Fourier domain to achieve 532 nm visible structured vortices. Based on pure cross-convolution, we succeed in copying arbitrary-order single vortices as well as their superposition states onto a prearranged array of fundamental Gaussian spots. Also, based on the simultaneous effect of self- and cross-convolutions, we can expand the initial vortex lattices to regenerate more vortices carrying various higher topological charges. Our presented method of realizing imaging, an optical vortex copier and regenerator could find direct applications in optical mani optical communication, and quantum information processing with structured vortex pulation, optical arrays.展开更多
