After analyzing the conditions at Maping town, we designed a three-dimensional model, special ecological agricultural system (SEAS), at Maping town. The SEAS has been practiced for three years and results show that the SEAS more efficiently utilizes local time and space resources and gains more econo- mic, ecological and social benefits. Thus, the SEAS has been considered as an optimal model for sustainable utilization of agricultural resources.展开更多

Marine electromagnetic instrumentations, especially the time domain horizontal magnetic dipole dipole system and horizontal electric dipole dipole system which have been designed and constructed in the Geophysics Division of the University of Toronto, were provided with applications to geotechnical studies on the shelf and deep ocean surveys near the mid ocean ridges.展开更多
