This paper divides technological innovation into two stages:technology development and technology transfer.Then the authors use the panel data of 28 manufacturing industries during 2003–2012 to test the econometric r...This paper divides technological innovation into two stages:technology development and technology transfer.Then the authors use the panel data of 28 manufacturing industries during 2003–2012 to test the econometric regression model for the industry of the sub stages,which is a regulation on technological innovation in the environment.The results show that:(1) environmental regulation has a significant role in promoting China's manufacturing technology research patent achievements,and technology into new products,and this indicated that"Porter hypothesis" in the manufacturing sector has been verified;(2) R&D and transfer expenditure have a positive impact on technological innovation.Finally,the authors put forward the corresponding policy recommendations for industry of the environmental regulation on the impact of technological innovation in phases.展开更多
As an essential infrastructure,the rural power grid is vital in promoting agricultural and rural carbon sequestration and improving rural energy electrification.It is necessary to carry out in-depth research on its co...As an essential infrastructure,the rural power grid is vital in promoting agricultural and rural carbon sequestration and improving rural energy electrification.It is necessary to carry out in-depth research on its comprehensive efficiency.Based on the requirements of“double carbon”and rural revitalization strategy for the rural Power Grid,this paper focuses on the modernization and low-carbon transformation of the rural Power Grid.It constructs an input-output index system for the investment efficiency of the rural Power Grid in China under the new situation.It uses the primary data of the rural Power Grid of 30 prefecture-level cities in China from 2019 to 2021 to evaluate the investment efficiency of the rural Power Grid in China through a three-stage DEA model.The empirical results show that:considering the regional differences,the comprehensive efficiency of the rural Power Grid in backward areas is significantly improved;that is,the three-stage DEA method can more objectively evaluate the comprehensive efficiency of the rural Power Grid.In the context of the continued promotion of the rural revitalization strategy,to improve the comprehensive efficiency of the rural Power Grid,it is necessary to improve the technical level of the rural Power Grid further and appropriately expand the scale of investment in the rural Power Grid.展开更多
Green housing reduces resource consumption and protects the ecological environment.Sustainable buildings and construction have gained increasing attention in the last decade.Many empirical studies have confirmed that ...Green housing reduces resource consumption and protects the ecological environment.Sustainable buildings and construction have gained increasing attention in the last decade.Many empirical studies have confirmed that green housing imposes a price premium at the presale stage.The high price could be a concern that prevents homebuyers from purchasing green buildings.However,there is a lack of empirical evidence on whether the premium pricing could be compensated for by the resale price.To address this gap,this study establishes a hedonic regression model to estimate the price premium of green housing at the resale stage.The results show that green housing certified with the Chinese Green Building Label(CGBL)offers a 6%price premium compared with non-green housing at the resale stage.The results also show that green housing with a higher level of green certification,e.g.,the 3-star CGBL,provides a greater price premium at resale.The findings indicate that homebuyers can obtain financial compensation for the high cost when purchasing a green home.Our findings also indicate that the price premium for reselling a green home is not always enough to compensate for the purchase cost in different cities.Policy recommendations for government promotion of green housing are also discussed.展开更多
