It is found that convergent collision and deep subduction of the continental lithosphere are in progress along the northern margin of the Tibetan Plateau. The deep process of due collision and deformation is different from that of oblique collision. It is revealed in the study that the deep process of the collision and deformation on the northern margin is different from that on the southern margin of the Tibetan Plateau.展开更多

The process progressively was divided into looseness, stratification, collision, and penetration. Particle penetration has a direct effect on the screening performance. The penetration probability was defined, and the mathematical relationships between particle penetration and vibration parameters were established using the least squares method. To obtain the ideal penetration probability for materials the amplitude and frequency should preferably be near 3.0 mm and 25 Hz, respectively. The vibration direction angle has only a slight effect on penetration. The stage of the screening process from 0.1 to 0.7 s is the primary region for collision and penetration. This paper focused on the sieving process to more fully understand how particle collision and penetration influence the screening efficiency.展开更多

But more than a century after Einstein first derived the relationship between mass-energy equivalence (or mass-energy equation), questions left for people are how to understand that mass and energy are somehow equivalent, and how to give the dynamical process for the conversion from mass to energy (or vice versa). This paper first interprets the formula of mass-energy equivalence published by Einstein in 1905, and then gives the equivalence relationship of mass-energy transition based on the dynamics of particle orthogonal collision. As a result, the orthogonal collision of two high-energy mass particles can generate a huge mass-energy density, equivalent to the total energy of N new particles, which is a one-way dynamic process that generates new mass-energy density and new matter. This conversion of mass into energy has nothing to do with special relativity.展开更多
